  • Just ensure they dnt damage your credit report by doing credit checks, there was a Groupon deal for $10 for six months, but they were doing credit checks.

      post paid. Should be enough said. Has been common practice for the last 20 years for post paid providers to do credit checks. Prettty sure its in the terms as well. But feel free to complain after not doing your due diligence

  • What I don’t get is how I can get a post paid Telstra plan but be rejected for Circles recently with the Groupon deal. I was on Circles a couple years ago even.

    • I never had a bad experience with Circles.Life previously; they were extremely helpful as well when I got the $59 offer and $500 JB GC deal — they gave me the LW number I needed very quickly and easily even though I hadn't received a first bill for that service.

    Read so many negative things about Circles and took the plunge anyway.
    They've been awesome for the past 6 months, my whole family have come across and couldn't be happier.
    Prices are crazy good, service is excellent and billing not an issue.
    Never seen missing data or higher than should be usage - all is legit.

    All I hope is they offer some decent loyalty deals for current customers before my 12mths is up. Thanks Circles and keep up the awesome work.

      I had a service with Circles.Life for longer than the other one; they kept giving bonus data, it was amazing. Trouble was I never need so much data, ever. Do most things on a normal computer with a fixed NBN connection myself. The second service was ported away at a later date with a JB $59 plan and $500 GC as well. That one is a few months off expiring, so I'm not moving that service due to the termination costs.

  • The thing that doesn't sit well with me here (and I'm sure Circles aren't alone in this), is that there's no bill shock guarantee like some other providers offer. As consumers we should have the option to switch on/off automatic excess data usage/charges. Notifications for when data is running low just isn't good enough IMO.

    If this isn't the case though, I'm happy to be proven wrong.

  • Just signed two of my kids up with CL through the $9.99 for 6 months unlimited talk, text, and 15gb deal on Groupon.
    The card I ordered was on my doorstep the next day. The second one the Mrs ordered took 5 days inc. weekend.
    Connection was done within 5 minutes on mine. The Mrs deleted her emails (I don't know why either), and emailed them. They got back to her within 15 minutes, and connected the second sim for us while we were out.
    So far speeds have been good, no dropouts, or issues. But being kids, I am monitoring the data closely!!!

    Tried to port last week. Was told that new service would work when old sim stopped working. Have been without a service since. Not replying to any contact attempts. Absolute disaster

      Use chat online with them. I once had a problem because of a damaged SIM card, but they got it all sorted. This time around, I made sure the new SIM card was good before I activated the port.

      • I did and they ignored my DMs for 3 days. Saying it will take 3-5 more days to sort out the porting. Offered me 10gb of data on my first 2 months as compensation. Absolute joke. Im out of action for ten days or more!

      It's more likely you don't understand the pro-rata situation of the first bill…. live chat reps have been exceptional for me.
      Some people just need to complain, surely it isn't as bad as you are making out.

      • Nope, was billed for a bunch of random UK calls I didn't actually make, maybe incoming robocalls but no idea why I was billed.

        • Very strange indeed. Certainly nothing that I've seen before from ANY service from any provider.

  • Been with circles life for 12 months, never had a problem, porting from Optus to Circles took under 2 hours.

    Ported my mother over too and from Optus to Circles, had no problems porting except I entered her account number wrong which delayed the process but the app told us to update it.

    Though, I assume I have to port out then port back in to this offer?

        Done, but do you think anyone in their right mind would believe it was $15 for then entire 6 months? It's hard enough to believe per month.

      • I would think not.
        For some reason, I tried the old link last night (not sure what time, it may have been past midnight), it failed to work, but it is working again today and I followed up on the expiry date from 9saver website. No other plan options on the 9saver website.

        Edit: It's listed in a new email that I received at 8:01am today, so they may have re-enabled it, but I was sure that expiry was originally in Feb.

    Thought I'd put this into every running deal from this company as it looks like these guys really want to do more business.
    Well, gather round folks and listen to the one who has been through the hell and high water with this company

    They will try to rip you off on every opportunity.
    Terrible customer service and always predatory behavior toward their customer
    Personal experience - overcharged for data use over the limit at a ridiculous rate without any warning or opportunity to purchase an additional package.
    All extra traffic is billed in 1MB increments (even is you used 0.1 kb)
    Raised a ticket then a complaint, explained the situation - received NO support, NO detailed usage, NO resolution.
    BEWARE!

  • Don't fall for it guys I went with circles.life and the worst regret of my life.

    I had chosen the option of 100gb but was given a 25gb plan, reached out to support and they advised me that they can't change the plan until 1 month later but well give me extra data to help me next month I get a bill shock of $81 dollar and after many chats and been told they well waive the $81 I get an email saying only they well waive $10 and are refusing to let me speak to a manager.

    Better go somewhere else, customer service is the worst and many hidden fees and issues.
