    $625.10 - PLMID5

    • Do you need eBay Plus for that?

      • yes

        • +1

I could have bought Plus for a month ($4.99) and availed this discount. Missed it.. haha

  • Are these things actually any good?

    • +1

Pretty good if I was to go by past posts and comments on OzB.

    • +2

Yup. I dry almost all my clothes in one. Fantastic having no humid air pumped out like the old one, fairly quick to dry (takes about 1.5hrs), saw a noticeable drop in power bills after switching from the old style dryer.

2 years now and it hasn't missed a beat.

    • +2

Really good. We have one for the last 2 years and it has been by far one of the best buys for us. Our toddler caught COVID few days ago so we are all isolating at the moment and it is times like this you really appreciate an item like this. We have been washing and drying all our linen and loads of clothes (multiple loads each day) and this with our washing machine and dishwasher have been the life savers.

    • This dryer is superb.
Great built quality and material used.
Every cycle has been dried thoroughly and super efficient, haven’t noticed any dramatic increase in electricity bills.

    • ive got the kogan one which i assumed its similar product, great for that price. for mine each load will take about 4hrs to dry and i use mine for about 3 loads a day 4 days a week and so far about a year now, so far no issue.

      • 4 hrs for the Kogan one? That's a lot of time, my Beko 7kg heat pump dryer the longest cycle is 1.5 hrs. My washer spin speed 1200rpm if thats make a difference.

        • i did some research before i brought mine, they all said it will take between 3-5hrs which i dont mind

  • Estimated between Fri. 22 Apr. and Thu. 28 Apr on eBay. Though next day delivery is on their site which has listed it for $718
    https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/product/esatto-ehpd7-7kg…

Weird they are not budging with the price..

    • You can ignore eBay's estimation. Check the estimated date for your postcode on Appliances Online for the same product. If it's 'Next Day Delivery', then they will deliver on the next day (or 2 days max) irrespective of the timeline that eBay shows. Within a few hours of your order, you will get a delivery notification for 'tomorrow' usually.

  • Check the estimated date for your postcode on Appliances Online for the same product.

It says next day on Appliances Online

    • Perfect then. Place an order now and get it tomorrow.

  • The work well but a hefty chemical smell when first used… not sure how long it lasts.

  • Says it requires a 10A socket to operate. Can this just be plugged into a wall socket outlet i have in my laundry?

    • +1

Yes 10A is the standard socket used in most homes. Some laundries offer 15A plugs as well, but it's not necessary for this dryer (or most in Aus). I'd be surprised if this dryer gets anywhere near 10A anyway.

    • Most sockets are 10A.

  • I had 2nd day delivery from appliances Online in Bentleigh East Area.
The delivery guy said they normally have plenty of them in stock.
They also will unpack it for you and hook up for you.
They stacked my on top of the wash machine.
Used for a month and cannot fault it.

    • Exactly the same experience. Did you use some sort of a mat on washer to stack the dryer on? Can you please link it if you did? I may buy one too.

      • +1

        Hi Virhlpool,
I didn't use any mat. I also bought a washer dryer stack shelf from eBay and going to return it.
The delivery guys has said "the dryer is not going anywhere" and they deliver a lot to appartments they do it all the time.

      • We put it on our laundry bench and use this mat to protect the surface:

        https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/unilux-ulx109-appliance-m…

        https://www.retravision.com.au/unilux-appliance-mat-white-ul…

Just Google and price match to your nearest store. :)

        • I have solid tiles on the floor and the washer and dryer have steady legs so it's not much about protecting the floor surface but I am fearing that the dryer (being light) may fall off or slip when stacked on the washer so I am checking if someone used any particular mat on the washer to put the dryer on to make it more steady during vibrations. Is it the same use that you are referring to?

          • @virhlpool: $55 seems insane. I usually just use something like this for metal on metal applications that require a little grip:
            https://www.kmart.com.au/product/multi-purpose-liner-4152198…

Unless they've changed it, with a little weight applied, this stuff (or something like it off ebay whatever) grips quite well and also keeps surface scratch free.

          • +1

@virhlpool: This dryer weighs something like 57kg so I wouldn't worry about it being light!

            • @downhillar: Yep, heat pump dryers, unlike basic dryers, are heavy. (57kg gross / 52kg net)

  • +2

Isn't that just all of QLD?

  • +1

FYI, there is a 8kg model 'coming soon'.

    • Any for other states?

  • I got one of these delivered yesterday. It is a little noisy, but does the job well for half the price of a major brand heat pump dryer. Has anyone else found that the door locking mechanism is a little weak and can sometimes open itself when operating?

    • Any idea of the official noise db? I need something quiet due to location of laundry

    • +1

Got mine DOA from last deal for $588 after nearly a month waiting for stock, door did not lock at all, had to use ductape to get it to work. Even then the switch inside the lock mechanism sometimes undid itself and stopped the machine pretty annoying. I returned and got the BEKO for $200 more, much better quality overall and 5 years manufacturer warranty. You get what you paid for I guess lol.

  • After 3yrs, dead :(

  • out of stock now
    impressive looking 1,100 units sold!

  • Picked one up along with the ebay plus code.

  • Make sure you check it straight away. Got it before Xmas in deal and left it to 2 weeks ago to use as it's been super hot in WA. turned it on and when you press start button doesn't work.

    • What happened then? Did they fix or replace it?

      • Service Team came out and couldn't find fault. Likely circuit board but no signs of damage or loose wires. Report being sent to appliances online for replacement or refund. Think will try a better brand

        • It's a great brand. Great reviews all across internet. You can probably go with another piece rather than an expensive brand unless you are getting some good deal. Just my 2c.

  • Service person coming out next week. Took 2 weeks for appt

  • How long does it take to dry clothes say in a standard mode? Don't see the manual providing info about the programme vs time,
    https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/public/manuals/EHPD7-Esa…

    • +1

I'm not sure as it never worked. Probably depends on multiple factors like load weight. Material wetness. Think they dry on lower heat so take longer but saves money from heat recycling

    • +1

It will not tell you the time because it's depending on the load you have in there. It could take between 2-3 hours, but most of the time mine finishes less than 3 hours. My washing machine setting is on 1200 RPM, so clothes are not excessively wet too.
