    it seems quite good quality and has everything i need . I am currenty using it as samsung dex connection for my tv. I bought it for my Duet 5 i bought last week.

        I still have a wide screen monitor, that functions perfectly well, but has only one video-in connection: VGA.

        This seems cheaper than chucking it. :)

    always wondered if usb-c pd/dpalt/tb is required for these to work or just any standard usb-c 5gbps is the minimum requirement?

    This would be awesome if it was 4k@60Hz. I can't find an equivalent that's 4k@60Hz with ~100W PD. Step up is a Thunderbolt dock and they're exxy.
