Somewhat related. When I was looking for cheap M.2 SATA SSDs on AliExpress I came across a Kodak M.2 SATA SSD. So random!

  • Has anyone used this in a Raspberry Pi?

I tried the SATA version and it wasn't happy at all. Other brands have worked fine.

    • What you mean by SATA version not working, SATA version of this brand?

  • SATA version of this brand didn't work well with the RPi. It is was really slow and unreliable. Clearly the chips set wasn't well supported.

    • OMG that's explain why my ORICO 2.5 External Hard Drive Enclosure keep dropping out. I thought its a power issue. You know any other brands that works?

  • These were the ones that were recommended to me. I have used one so far and it seems to be fine.
