The first four series of the BBC crime drama following the lives of a gangland family living in Birmingham in the early 1920s. Named after their practise of sewing razor blades into the peaks of their caps, the notorious 'Peaky Blinders' gang is one of the city's most feared, with interests in illegal betting, protection and the black market. Former war hero and brains behind the operation Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy), however, is eager to safeguard his family's success by expanding and legitimising the business but faces many obstacles in doing so. The cast also includes Sam Neill, Annabelle Wallis, Tom Hardy, Helen McCrory and Adrien Brody.

@[Deactivated]: When i was over at a friends house seeing this thing for the first time. I was like dafuq is that. Its the size of a dinner plate.
Great show, I torrented the s*it out of it lol
Man box sets of series that are still running are really just a shame. You end up with a box and then one or two loose DVDs.
If you still buy dvds.. Which I do because I want to actually own things.Yea, I'll wait for the full series box set (when on sale at JB…)
The 5 seasons are available on Netflix (HD quality)
Probably also available on britbox (1 month free through Optus sub hub)
This is why I don't get non release of BR counterparts.
The Office (OG) is available in 1080P streamed, yet only on DVD, the difference is night and day.
I did some back catalog of Tom Baker Dr Who, wow the Retardis never looks so shitty and that's a good thing.
Blu Ray should be the only option now, given older shows should be archived to the best quality (4K not needed), DVD seems a waste imo.
best show.
Dear UK,
A “series” is an entire TV show.A “season” is a group of episodes.
A TV show is one series that has multiple seasons.
Stop calling a “season” a “series”.
/rant
Not if you are from the UK it isn't, not everywhere follows the good ol' US of A in their nomenclature.
The UK like Colour and not Color.
The US love Gray and not Grey.
The list could go on
It's semantics at the end of the day.
Here in Australia, Chanel 7, 9, 10 and SBS use the term “Seasons”.
The only station who use “series” is the pretentious ABC.
So don’t try and make out it’s a USA thing.
Ermmm, so "Chanel" 7,9 and 10 are completely Australian and don't follow our American friends in their programming styles and their naming standards.
I'm not so sure of that.
I agree that the ABC, pretentious or not, follow similar patterns to the UK. Given that they are very similar to the BBC, with a heavy lean to showing UK shows, I guess they would follow a similar standard.
This perfume doesn't quite smell right.
So a series is a group of season which is a group of episodes?
It's missing season 5, hence OP is not a "series" by your own definition.
Hence not sure what you rant is about. The first four series of the BBC crime drama
It’s the first fours seasons of the the one TV series.
For anyone interested, the 6th season is out now and you can watch it (along with seasons 1-5) on BBC iPlayer for free using a VPN or Smart DNS.
Peeeky Foookinn Blinnndurrs!
I didn't know DVDs were still a thing
