This is nice. A tad on the sweet side, but good value for money as part of a meal for 2.
(I can't find the curry one any more…)

    • Yes it is on the sweet side but good value! This sale seems to come around every few weeks

      Thanks Wiggum

    • That's pretty good price for duck. They don't have much meat on other parts, except chest and legs

  • Yeah, they got this but they don't got duck I'orange.

    • +5

No, if they don’t got duck l’orange then they don’t got this.

this is a crime, at least to those ducks. Taste yucky!

  • +1

Yeh orange one is pretty yuck. The curry one was better but don't seem to stock it anymore.

I enjoy these chopped up with some Indomie Mi Goreng.

Only problem is, my Coles never has them! I'd stock up at that price.

  • Always been worried about buying these but usually make my own ala the classic rick stein recipe for vietnamese duck l'orange, but the process of doing a whole duck is a bit time consuming. Any comments on people that have had these before and maybe done their own l'orange for comparison?

  • Classic, love these even at full price. For 7 it's heaven!

  • Never seen the orange one in any Adelaide stores ??
One of my local woolies used to have the plain Confit duck legs but stopped stocking them a few months back. At $7 a 2 pack any of these are great value

  • Bought a couple of packs yesterday. Not much of a sweet tooth, so a little worried. What do people serve it with? Mash?

Also, best before date says 31 of August 2022, can it seriously sit in the fridge for 5 months?

    • Yeah, great with mash. Add some peas/corn and mix through the mash with the the sauce and fat from the duck.

I've had packs in the fridge since December, they come out fine.

  • Hmmm … Coles Turramurra this morning has them "on special" at $11 ?

    • If you take it to a counter and show them the online price, they'll probably match that for you.

  • doesnt seem avail online via Engadine, NSW store … will have to go in tomorrow and hope for the best. Thanks OP

  • very nice
