    Anyone know what size transformer this would need?

    8X7W=56W
    you shouldn't run your transformer more than 80% of its rated output
    70W is what you should be looking for and it will give you your 20% overhead

  Depends on the quality but if its ok quality with good seals this is a good price, ones i get from a electrical wholesaler look similar to this and are about $20 each
