Yeah, my two complaints would be that
1. there is no way to mark an online receipt as redeemed. When you have a backlog going, it gets tricky to know which to use.
2. The one time I tried to use my online ones it wouldn't scan in store (never had an issue with other e-tickets). I will say I've only tried it on the one occasion. Most of the time with the physical free coffee reciept, they just take it and chuck it in a bowl.
Even if you dont opt out of paper receipts, you can still opt out manually every time. Gives you the option of saying yes to a receipt if you were popping into another shop right after or something :)

Im the same. Got the offer even though i already opted for ereceipts. It did also allow opting out of paper receipts for Big W and BWS which i did, not sure if they will give the 100 points though, hasnt come through yet.
Is there still much of a delay between when you pay at Woolies and when the e-receipt becomes available in the app?
I continue to print paper receipts at Woolies because there used to be a delay, and often I'll go from Woolies straight into Aldi, and the cashier at Aldi often asks to see my Woolies receipt for all the stuff in my trolley.
If Woolies is quick now, I'll opt out of paper.
In my recent experience it's instant.

In the early days of e-receipts, it took 10-15 minutes before the receipt was available.
Nowadays, it is always available within seconds.
