The cooks collective, as far as I can tell, is just a myer "brand". They'd just go to whichever company in China and get a label stuck on the top.
While cheaper than lodge, for something you only buy once, I'd rather spend the extra $25 or so.

I'm now eying (ie waiting for cashback deals) a 26cm Lodge cast iron frypan for $39. Paying $20 more for a more reputable Buy It For Life item is worth it!

Does the colour make any difference with the handle temp?
