  • I get horrrrrrible Bluetooth connectivity on this thing. Even to a laptop right next to it. Might be just my environment but I have an Rk84 and Cq84 which have zero issues over Bluetooth.

    • Did you have the wireless dongle plugged in next to an active usb3 device?

      • I was using Bluetooth. Mine is the SK-622-GKTL1-US. No dongle. Maybe fixed in this version and more reliable BT? Not sure.

  • check Dave2D's review…avoid…

I am biased as a new keychron owner as of last week

    • +2

That was the older model with the flat keycaps.

      • fair enough

    • As a disgruntled keychron owner I'm disappointed this isn't a good alternative.

My K6 won't work in cabled mode, the whole reason I got this keyboard was to be able to switch between bluetooth to my work laptop and USB to my gaming PC. It was fine until I accidentally switched to Apple/Mac mode from windows mode and then switched back. Now it either endlessly loops "installing device" on my PC or just lights up but doesn't register any keypresses.

Tried factory reset of K6, power cycling PC and keyboard, uninstalling the device from windows, plugging K6 into other computers. Nothing works. Can't reflash firmware because you need to be in cable mode to do it.

Gonna have to contact support directly and / or RMA

  • +1

    Pro: has arrow keys.
Con: unusably small right shift key.

    • I never use the right shift key when typing; just me? Always using left shift, but never right. Would feel funny to me if I used my right pinky to press/hold it.

      • It's much quicker to use the right shift key any time you want to capitalise any key you enter with your right hand.

      • +2

I never use the right shift key either.

I do only ever hit space with my right thumb when typing, but only left thumb when gaming.

  • So glad I tried these out in store before deciding NOT to purchase. First gen LP mech switches feel like mushy crap. Coming from MX Blue, Brown, Green, orange and lately the optical purple (Razer switch), i have tried too many keyboards…
