A good deal if you live in the area and aren't working I guess, if you don't make the first 200 lunch starts from $25 which is still reasonable.

Have not been there myself so can't vouch for the food

Fixed, forgot to add it back on after modifying it for the date

      • no worries :)

  • From the FB posts sounds like there was a long queue of people waiting in the rain an hour+ beforehand today…

    • Maybe because today's a public holiday and people don't have to be at work. And so they spend their time queuing for a free buffet!

  • …"filled in an email request form."
where can i find this form?

    • I don't know exactly, but I interpreted it as a form you get on the day or something if you are the 200

      • They said "just turn up but only first 200 eat free, no bookings for lunch" on their fb page.

Who said there's no such thing as a free lunch! :p

    • This is not, in this particular case - once you count in the opportunity cost that may lost while you are not eating that free lunch (eg, time lost waiting in the queue, worse if you aren't sure if you're inside first 200)

        Whooosh!!! :)

  • This is confusing, how do we claim the free lunch exactly???
I went through the facebook dance, but have got no voucher or anything mentioning my free lunch.

  • I was there today. You just have to turn up, and if you are in the first 200, you will be handed a voucher for a free lunch. I got there at about 11:20PM, and managed to get in at about 12:30 so yeah, about an hour wait but people who came at around 12 still seemed to get the voucher (although they still had to wait about an hour to get in, just because of the length of the line). Food was pretty decent for a $25 buffet - I personally liked the sushi, desserts and deep-fried Jalapenos.

  • FB post from restaurant said "over 500 people lines out the door"…

    • I guess its a pretty successful publicity campaign then… more than half the people who went today would've ended up paying

      • Turned up and buying are two different things

        • After a long wait you will be so hungry then…

          Smart move I reckon.

      • Yes, although from comments some were pretty disappointed with the queue management, people pushing in, others turning up late and joining friends, etc. You wouldn't be a happy customer if you lined up early and had to pay for those reasons.

  • Wonder how many people turned up today as it wasn't a public holiday.

    • The 200 vouchers were all taken up by the time they opened the doors at 12.10pm.

  • i live near this place…good feed?
