I bought one to use for the stand and game storage. Won't bother using the fan as it sucks air in from the top and extracts it from the bottom so it's pretty useless. PS5 cooling system does a pretty good job anyway.

    Apparently having a ps5 on the side screws the disc in it. Saw a youtube video few months ago

      Ive seen this happen repeatedly. It's a hassle to disassemble the case to force eject the disc. To reliably eject disc the console had to be placed horizontally.

    I did not see the voucher too when I opened in a new tab but when I checked the item from the Amazon app, the voucher was there. Give it a go.

  Just got one, thanks! never had issues with discs while ps5 on its side. also I don't change discs very often at all so won't be an issue for me.

  I remember reading on OzB that these cooling stations aren't ineffective to cool the PS. I probably read it wrong

    you mean are ineffective? I haven't used on any on mine, but my PS4 (first gen) had a cooling system like this and didn't actually helped on the cooling part. it mostly just powered the fan.. I did see a performance improvement after replacing it with an SSD which is off topic

    Can't imagine it helps, and would probably hinder cooling.

    The PS5 fan pulls in air from the top and front and directs it down and out the back, this appears to be blowing air in the opposite direction.

  How's the controller charging like on it OP? Does it still work well for you while ps5 is on standby?
