Very nice set, and cheapest price for this set I have ever seen! Bought for $129.00 last December, worth it!

I was thinking the same thing. 50% off RRP? who would pay that.
People differs how they value their $$. Some parents are contented picking up free toys from the gutter and gumtree, and some don't
Been this price for a while
Expensive set. I'd argue that the Chinese New Year set is much better value https://lego.bricksmegastore.com/products/happy-childhood-mo…
Not for $169.99!

standard disclaimer
seems super expensive for small amount of plastic
Cheaper than anywhere else…
I have considered buying this when it has been this price previously but it is quite expensive still. It's actually a very nice set but we already bought both the alphabet truck and the numbers train for about $43 total. I think those sets are a bit better value for money and they do have some educational value. I think this is really nice as a present or if you just feel like splashing out for your kid(s).
Depends on what your kids like doing. For a 2-3 year old, they can build the things that they like.
Slides, etc.
Pizza / bbq shop.
Train - number train with more carriages is like $20.I also bought the alphabet truck and train when they are on sale and seemed better value. The smaller sets may be better value and more play - ymmv.
Global supply chain problems have meant the sales are less frequent and stuff is sold out.
My son liked the freight and passenger train and joined it up with the other train sets. Also liked the house so he could play house and go wait for train.
2 years is a fair way away for ours. He does seem to like the sets as he likes to make truck noises and woofs with the dog but he can't actually build anything himself. He does like to take apart what I make with him. Beyond that, his limited attention span means I've barely got the lego out of the box before he wants to move onto doing something else. I may rethink this set, or other sets like this a year or two down the track.
Buy at Target online and sign up for the newsletter to get another $10 off plus Cashback. I just bought it for $89. https://www.target.com.au/p/lego-reg-duplo-reg-town-amusemen…
You don't get much for $100, is this just how expensive duplo is?
