Bought this myself back in November for $89. Now I think this is the all time lowest I've ever seen this Invicta watch. No complaints from me. I'd buy the same brand but different colour again.

    see you on the cruise!

    • +2

Every person there looks EXACTLY like the people you picture in your head when you hear "Invicta".

      • +1

        Female MMA fighters?

      • +3

Say what you want about Invicta's watches, but I bet I'd rather be there than a Rolex cruise.

        • +1

It would definitely be more fun. A Rolex cruise would just be a giant P*ssing competition

  • -4

Great bargain for all you Bolt Zeus Magnum collectors.

  • Not bhed

  • Bought, Thanks .

  • Thanks OP , bought 1.

Does the gold plating eventually fades ?
Also is 40mm the smallest size for invicta autos ? I know quartz has 37.5mm

PS: Ahhh.. forgot 6% cashback !!

    • Looks like it's only 4% for watches?

    • Some reports say it does. 40 mm is the Submariner size too.

  • Nice find Op. Could also be used as a good base for modding.

Nice deal, especially for an auto with a very robust NH35 movement and a decorated rotor. Invicta unfortunately gets a lot of hate from snobs but their pro divers are very good - wear what you like when you like. The specs and value on this deal beats Seiko every day of the week.

    • +5

Well said, can't stand watch snobs. The great thing about having an interest in watches is you can do it on any budget.

      • I couldn't agree more. I think the word 'snobs' in watch snobs is misspelt, I think it should start with a K instead.

This watch, not my cup of tea but it's great for the specs. I was tempted just for the movement.

    • +2

Seriously, if you want a cheap intro to auto watches, these things are a solid way in. Most of the criticism is levelled at their "higher end" stuff with some, uh, aesthetically challenging designs at some astounding RRPs. I've got a basic small diver Invicta, just a nice clean simple auto, been a good little watch

  • +4

For those wondering, the movement is a Seiko NH35A - 21,800 bph with 41 hour power reserve. Crystal is mineral glass not sapphire.

Good price for someone wanting to get their first automatic movement. Can't really go wrong at this price. I have too many watches otherwise I would be tempted to buy.

To the person asking will the plating wear off - yes it will. Length of time before it is noticeable depends on the plating thickness.

Invicta watches are EASILY the best value for money watches on the market.

It we exclude the absurd looking ones, the more traditional versions of their diving watches (of which I own many) I can say with confidence that they are well built, reliable time pieces. I dont know how they do it for the money. I think its fair to say that BRAND name watches are ripping you off blind. Seiko, which make excellent watches, will put a RRP of $499 on a watch, so that when its offered at $299 you think you are getting a bargain, but it probably cost well under $50 to manufacture.

As to the one in question here. A nice watch im sure, but a little too small at 40mm for me, but I'm sure it would suit many.
At $70, one of the easiest buys you wil ever see on this site.

Casio would like to respectfully disagree

    • 40mm is a great size and wears very nicely for most people but up to the individual. I've got a Pagani Daytona that's great, is look at that brand for example as you get sapphire crystal which is a must imo.

Solid workhorse movement, worth buying just for that if I needed the replacement parts.

Pretty common/classic design (thanks Rolex sub), agree can't really do wrong at this price. Gold plating isn't for me (although they do a blue and gold which looks ok). I personally wouldn't spend any more on an Invicta as they aren't really/fully Swiss made anymore, or at least the majority of models. Could do without the excessive branding on the left hand case body.

  • -1

This looks exactly like a rolex submariner but $20,000 less.

    • Or the Omega Seamaster that I will purchase when my Disney Timex breaks and I get the wife's go ahead!

    • -2

And it probably keeps better time :)

      • +2

It definitely doesn't keep time better

    • A rolex submariner if purchased retail is around 14k

  • -4

Invicta … meh .. no thanks.

    • +1

Invicta irself, or this particular design, which is virtually identical to every other brand dive watch design?
If the former, why? If the latter, then certainly that is a personal preference.

      • -1

Just personal preference with the brand .. not for me ..

  • +2

The Seiko movement alone cost approx this much since the price has risen due to COVID. Basically, you are getting the watch case and bracelet for free, which you could resell.

    • Most people don't understand this or are even aware that many of the Invicta watches have Seiko movement in them.
The inards are clearly mass produced.

  • -1

    Good weather for it.

  • Bought one thanks

  • you can buy this without any knowledge from fiji for $600AUD when you on a holiday and they charge you this

    • -6

The price one pays for ignorance and unwillingness to do the research.
An isnight into a signficant % of the population.
One only has to see how many got vaccinated to understand this serious problem.

      • +2

No… get back under the bridge and don't come out.

    • You'd be a dimwit if you did.
Guess you wouldnt do that again

  • +1

Does this suit women? Planning as gift for someone who likes oversized watches

  • +2

For anyone who cares about movement this has seiko movements nh35 which is equivalent of 4r35

  • I have been thinking about buying of these buy with the black dial. How is the lume on them? At least a 6 or 7 out of 10? Also, I know it says water resistant but would they be ok for surfing in small waves?

    • 6 seems alright for lume. But it is better than plenty of other watches.

Yes, very good for that much water activity.

    • Unfortunately the lume is unsatisfactory, and is weak across the entire face and hands. The bezel pip is ok and has brightness and longevity that is functional.

You could easily surf with it, it's otherwise a very well built watch, and the crown screws in very smoothly and firmly.

    • The like on these is fairly terrible I'd say a 3 out of 10

  • Thanks OP bought two, one for myself and one for my son.

  • -1

Jeez this looks similar to my Rolex Submariner Bluesy. Just a hell of a lot cheaper.

  • +2

Tempting indeed - but looking after two automatic watches will be like having two wives :D

    • Many a man's dream, or nightmare, depending on the wives…

    • +2

I like my auto watches and I like my women. I probably have at least 15. You work out which one Iā€™m talking about. šŸ˜‚

    • It's good having a few to choose from. I got 5. Nice having one or two quartz in the mix so you can at least grab one of them without having to set (got the Pagani Daytona and a couple of G-Shocks, if anything wouldn't mind another quartz diver or the Tissot prx)

  • My order has been marked undeliverable and will be refunded! Hmmm has anyone else even had this issue?

    • It won't deliver to any po Box or Amazon place or parcel collect etc

      • Yeah nah, my amazon account delivers to my home address…I don't have any of those you mention

      • +1

Just got notification packaging got damaged so it was returned. Just purchased again.

  • +1

Got mine. Ended up just using a band from a similar Invicta stainless that I had that failed from a drop. I actually really like this gold watch now without the fake gold band.

  • received the watch:
    * dial is slightly purplish
    * crown screw little rough

Definitely not bad for the price though, I think it may go well with blue nato band

    • Plenty of after market dials available if you ever want to mod it. Just do a search on eBay & Aliexpress for - NH35 Dial

The cyclops can be easily removed too. Just don't keep the flame on too long.

      • +1

        wow removing the cyclops! thanks

    • A different band would be alright. Two tones aren't really my thing, that gold would probably look a bit cheap/tacky (particularly when it starts to rub off). Could do without the Invicta branding all over it like on the watch case side.. They are alright for the price as a standard sub homage/knock off but nothing special overall.
