Spend $750 and get a free $20 Lego set.

It's the $140 Creator Expert Fiat. Not the new $20 promo Fiat.

Let me guess, Lepin is a better and cheaper option?

      • What's this refer too?

        • +5

Knock off Lego kits on AliExpress. Cheaper and moderately good quality, but not better and often missing pieces or non-fitting bricks.

          • +2

@Daabido: Also have almost zero resale value, vs Lego which will sell for almost RRP or higher, even assembled.

  • Price in title please - thanks

  • +1

Boring set, should mark at least 40%off RRP, remembered Big Ben was heavy discounted to like $249

    • +2

if this was 40% off i would buy it. the free Fix It Again Tony does make it tempting, but i'll wait for now

  • I dunno why, but for a sec from the thumbnail, I thought it was a massive LOTR One Ring.

I'm lacking 3 things in life, a Lego Colosseum, and office to display my Lego Colosseum and $750 to burn on a Lego Colosseum.

    • +13

luckily you'll only need $749.99, so you are closer than you first thought, hope that helps.

    • +4

      Reminds me of this.

    • And a name like

      Maximus Decimus Meridius?

  • I was thinking of proceeding. New to the Lego phenomenon. Was on the fence - suprised when I set up a dummy order and they charge delivery? Assumed it would be included, not the case? Sucked because even the click collect places were half a world away from me.

Can think of it like the Fiat set costing $10?

      • That's the thing Cheapest postage I can see is $34.48. Seems steep. Geelong.

    • Bricks Megastore is the online companion to the physical lego stores in Australia and charge shipping. The Australian store you access via lego.com is different, and has free shipping, but not this offer.

  • Every time I see this lego set in the store I can't help but think how boring it seems. Its just a really big stadium. I know that Colosseo is significant and impressive IRL, i've seen the real thing. I just dunno, this seems like a really big boring set; I can't imagine the drudgery building it. I'd much rather a huge star wars destroyer or something for the money

I thought similar until I saw one with a light kit. Cool af.

    • i have to agree, massive set but looking at the instructions its only 2 pages of parts… pretty much similar sections all the way around….

$750 WOW. for that price i better be able to move in.

  • +2

    Hmmm…missing parts of the wall.

  • is this one even fun to build? looks a little basic

    • It's quite a repetitive build. Reminds me of the taj Mahal or Ferris wheel build.

Looks impressive to display but the fun factor when building is questionable

      • Looks impressive to display but the fun factor when building is questionable

Yeah, I'd build it for free because it looks cool but it's a little pricey in my opinion

  • Nice set and would like one, but for $750, that's just too much for something that I'm going to be bored of pretty quickly.

I would be cool if it came with a floor and some working trap doors, wild beasts, gladiators. Then I could recreate the end scene from Gladiator. At least then it would have some playability. Without it is just a zero for playability.

  • This or ps5?

  • saw this in store today - it's big and quite imposing, and impressive.

  • Does the Fiat automatically get added to the cart?

    • Yes it should do

      • Damn, I must have missed out on it then
