Hmm looks like a good product with some good use cases, but might be a bit expensive to "smart" the switches in my rental.
However, (and acknowledging your video), the actual Switchbot website shows that it's not compatible with Australian-style switches. Why do they state that if you've shown that it can be used with them? https://www.switch-bot.com/products/switchbot-bot

    • The australian concave buttons should work when placed correctly, but if there is a vertical stack of them it wouldn't work. Horizontal would be okay.

  • What’s the return policy in case it does not work on the use case I might be getting this for?

  • I have this, it's great. Bought it 4 plus years ago and have zero issues.

I use it on my air conditioner console attached to my wall to turn it on and off using the app via Bluetooth. You can also create schedules.

    Battery lasts 2-3 years.

    • I did the exact same a couple of years ago too - works great - but have had to replace battery.

Recently got a 'Shelly Button 1' - 1 click of button toggles downstairs aircon 2 clicks toggles upstairs.

Ok so it turns on but who turns off!!!🤣
    Fail

    • thats what i was thinking too! one way switch

    • Wow doesnt seem smart

      • I don't have one of these, but it shows you on the page how the turning on and off works, doesn't seem like a one way thing.
