To be fair to iPhone, once you start using it you start realist the difference.
I am using a S21 and IP 13 at the moment, there are many more ticks for me on IP compare to S21. Does the extra tick worth the extra? That is up to individual.
On the other hand, there are reason why certain user will not switch to IP no matter how buggy their android is. Like my wife, she is on WeChat all the time for work so she need the dual WeChat ability and it drive her crazy if she has to carry two phone.

I enjoy samsung for its build quality and ability to fully customise with a skin and GA. I would like to return to iPhone for memory management and image processing. I loathe Siri…she's so bad. I used her on my ipad air and mac book pro m1 pro because usually I am after a URL on those devices but why is she so bad still
I'm on iPhone and Pixel, and wife is on Samsung. No question hands down Pixel is the overall winner. iPhone is second, but the Apple ecosystem is so closed it makes the overall experience degraded.
Unusual it's usually the guys who use Android and girls who are locked into Apple when couples are on different OSs. Good to see people breaking the stereotypes.
I'm still dreaming of the day we will have the option of choosing the best device and having the ability to choose the OS without compromise like Pure Google (without attached bloatware) or iOS (even if Apple set exacting requirements) rather than being forced into buying phones as it's and the only option being to install custom firmware and lose warranties or ability to use tap to pay ect ect

amazon's algo's detected the run on the cheaper iPhone and so did what all price gouging algo's do these days, they overcharge for the unpopular colour

I think someone who is prepared to spend nearly $1800 on a phone has more issues than worrying about thousands of photos that you would probably never look at again.
I know this was blown off with the comment up there, but with iPhones you have to get it when they are first released, since from then on the time of usage before the next one diminishes extremely quickly. You'd be better off waiting 7months and buy it at T=0 for the iPhone 14, this will allow for a clear 12months of usage before the next is released.
Pretty sure you can keep using a phone after a new one gets released…
