I was in JB Hifi CBD Sydney the other day and the Soniq 32" 1080p Full HD TV was selling for $199.

I have both an LG 720p and a Soniq 1080p from JB Hifi, and they are both great TVs. When next to each other watching the same show, you'd be hard pressed to find a difference in image quality between the two. Virtually nothing I watch is 1080p so the 1080p is a bit wasted, but when I do watch the odd Bluray it looks fantastic on the Soniq.

To be honest I'd save myself $99 and get the Soniq, then next year if you want something better the LG will probably be cheaper anyway. The LG 32" models were selling for about $500 on special this time last year.
