fair enough, I was just going by what the camel said, and $99 is equal lowest on Amazon according to them, $59 is a great price for this
I like the strip on the luminance and colour gradients. However, my friend has a lot of issues getting it to work with his Orbi mesh. I’m on Orbi too but didn’t have the same issues.
My strip is controlled via the Stream Deck and it’s suffering from pretty bad lag from basic On/Off commands. Sometimes I had to tap a few times. The lag is similar if controlled via HomeKit.
The nanoleaf elements light strips support thread. So the delays are pretty much gone.
It needs something like HomePod mini (supports thread) though, I’m not sure what the equivalent is for the google ecosystem.
Bing Lee have it for $99 Bunnings price match - 10%
($89.10 from Bunnings)

Will that work? Doesn't seem to be any store stock and next day delivery is 20$ anyway so 10% = $107.1
Seems like a good price.
I got a set via a Bunnings pricemwatch a while ago, and they've performed well. I like that the lights/colours can be set per ~6 LEDs vs the Hue product which was single colour only.
Pretty good plugins for StreamDeck too, I've used it to good effect for D&D nonsense with our tabletop gaming group.
What are some things people do with these?
I have one installed above my kitchen cabinets to give ambient lighting in the evening - avoids the need to turn the main lights on for most things. Set it to a colour you like, fade on with sunset, very cool.
Above the curtain pelmets in a home theatre set-up is awesome as well.
Under bed night lighting (paired with a motion sensor via Google home) makes for easy, stub-free toilet trips, etc.Lots of uses.
That’s very good applications. With the kitchen lighting did you use a diffuser ? I have heard that sometime it can show a lot of individual LED’s instead of more streamline. I am planning to install under the overhead kitchen cabinets but thinking of the challenges as they don’t have a recessed Lighting track as if now.
I mounted the strip to a bit of wood moulding (like 40mm x 12mm) and have that just laying on the top of the cabinets about 15cm from the wall. So, you don't actually see the strip itself at all and they are shining directly up so you just get a nice diffuse gradient up the wall… It's really good.
Hmm not historical low, I’ve paid $59 couple of years ago on Black Friday, Nov 2020
