GIGABYTE B550M AORUS PRO-P from MetroCom eBay is a better buy at $134.25 delivered with coupon MOBO25OFF.

    • Much better VRMs
    • Heatsinks on both sets of VRMs
    • Heatsink for primary M.2 slot
    • 2.5GbE LAN
    • Better audio chip and includes optical out
    • USB Type-C

    Easily worth the extra ~$9

    • Legend, thanks!

Why do modern board still have heaps of USB A and only 1 USB-C's?

      • Do cases often have more USB C and less USB A or have we not hit that stage yet?

        • I looked at the picture for the Gigabyte B550 back plate and it only has one USB-C there.

    • Thanks for this deal. This is definitely better mobo than the one I posted.
Bought one just for a backup incase if my 4770K PC is dead anytime soon.

What's the cheapest processor you could pair this with?

The B550 motherboard chipset supports Ryzen 3000 and up so if you can find a Ryzen 3 3100 or 3300X used then that's your best bet. As for brand new, I think R5 3600 and R5 5600G are around the same price nearing $300
