    A lot of people submitted on the 10th . So they have had 3 full biz days with today being their 4th one .
    Seems the 10th also was the last time they were providing results for some .

    Just received a denied email when I only submitted one claim for a $5 win, I didn’t bother buying anymore when I heard of the problems. This promotion is a joke.

    • Can you try to object, report to Lindt support?

    I submitted 5 entries and this was the first response, so I assuming they'll deny all 5 of these!

  • I just checked my email and my one entry was denied. When I tried to submit it again it said I had already entered. I was going to buy some more tomorrow but will buy a pack of caramello koalas instead. Bought on 11th Feb submitted that day too

    Are these denials worth fighting? I'm sure everyone has followed the T&Cs. I think they might be unhappy how we went about it but it's all legitimate.

      Unfortunately the ACCC may disagree. You can't contract out of misleading and deceptive conduct.

      • Totally agree they can write whatever they want in their t&c's but it must abide by Australian Consumer Laws .

        Anyway I will help FULindt out with what they should have emailed everyone waiting . : Sorry due to the over whelming demand to our competition. Processing will take longer than 3 business days .

        I haven't received any emails yet. It's not looking good. I thought we had to buy them from Woolworths as they have individual receipt numbers which differentiate them from every other receipt being submitted.

        So kept them in a hidden place.

    They legit deleted their promotion post (a video post) on their Facebook page in the past hour or so, after some people complaining about how their claims were denied. This is beyond ridiculous.

      Apparently they have also blocked people who posted on that thread. Those people have been able to comment on a separate review page, but can't comment or interact with the Lindt Facebook page anymore. It's just a total mess.

    I bought five packets of the caramel squares each on a seperate receipt.
    When I entered the giftcard competition with my first receipt I was stoked to see that I had won $100
    AND since I read on here that Lindt were denying multiple claims, I stopped there and did NOT enter ANY other receipts.
    Just that first one.
    So of course today I get an email saying:

    Reason: The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of the Terms and Conditions.

    They are not just eliminating multiple entries, but also all the winners too!

    P.S. When I bought them from Woolworths they had stands, advertisements, and competition flyers all over the front of the store promoting this deal.
    Woolies should do better quality control with these dodgy competition scams!

    I received my 5 wins, but my husband has not received anything (confirmation or rejection) for his 5 entries on the same day (9 Feb - well before the 90K would have been hit). He has emailed them. If they are denied, we will also complain to the ACCC or the permit issuing authority.

      If the 90K had been hit surely they would have stopped the function of giving out the random gift cards between $5 to $100 .
      After checking the competition page its still going .

    Don’t let the scumbags get away with this. I won $5 and I’m already pissed when you know it’s a legit claim and they just flat out denied it, I can’t imagine those who won more. Is there a way to get the media involved?

          "Lindt has been engaging in misleading and deceptive conduct. They have been running a competition which guarantees a prize to anyone who enters (https://www.lindtshopperrewards.com.au/). When you submit an entry in accordance with the terms of the offer they reject the claim and do not award a prize. When you contact them about this, they do not respond. There are many others impacted by this scam promotion. Lindt took down a Facebook posting that contained a slew of complaints earlier today and are trying to prevent people reporting that this is a scam."

    Woolworths wouldn't let me exchange or refund to anything but other chocolates. FURIOUS, first got scam then can't even get money back.

            @Slo20: Woolworths are a party to the shenanigans. Coles were sensible and didn't participate in this scam. Woolworths chose to. Sure the workers weren't in on the scam but they shouldn't take anything that's said personally.

    Also submitted a report to the ACCC based on the fact I had 5 winning entries (albeit $5 each) with no further communications from Lindt. I even sent an email to them as they themselves noted in their Facebook post.

      * Anyone know how to retract an ACCC report? Or do I just leave it.

  • My family member just received the email below today at 1:33AM for two claims submitted on the 15th:
    "We are experiencing a large volume of claims right now. Your claim is being validated, and we will be in touch with a response in 2-3 business days. We apologise for any delays. Lindt Support Team"

    Looks like Lindt could be mass emailing people who have submitted claims to let them know they've received the submission and there's a delay. So the email kind of acts as a confirmation email. They should have implemented a confirmation email in their process from the getko. They really didn't think it through about how to run this promo properly and successfully…

  • I have just received gift cards for my denied claims. Looks like lindt resolved issues and good on them.

    Just an update for everyone. I didn't return the chocolates based on @illz post regarding Lindt manually going through the entries. Thought I'd wait and see what happens.

    Early this morning received 2 gift cards for my 2 entries that were originally declined. Not sure about my partner as I'm at work.

    But I will probably take the suggestion from @Craze and just donate them.
