    • I've been having checkout problems just like that using Firefox browser. It looks like the site itself has some problem, but if I use Chrome instead it works.

        LOL… makes "must be activated within 30 days of ordering" difficult, and the cashback probably impossible.

        • Most Telcos never bother to track down the activation of a SIM to validate cashback.

    1. Does "new customer" = "new account/phone number" like Kogan? That is, can the same person buy and activate multiple SIMs?
    2. Anyone know if you can get multiple cashbacks, or only the first cashback?
    3. How do you leave/cancel… just don't buy any recharges?
  • I'm currently with boost, can I keep my number still? I'm fine with only getting 20gb (it's still cheaper than recharging), or I can buy a $2 optus and switch back but would I still be considered a 'new customer'?

    • If you want to take advantage of this cheap sim and if your already with boost and want to keep your number, then porting out ( say to Optus ) will be needed and then back in to this boost sim, done.

        Hardly worth the effort for a 28 day sim.

        • "WatchNerd" Many people on here would agree, and many not as that is the trade off for sim swapping,

          time spend porting each 28/31 days to save $10=$30.

            @ozhunter68: Don't get me wrong I'm a massive sim slut but I don't think I've ever done 28 or 30 days on my main number. Usually try for 90 days or longer.

            Having a dual sim phone means you can buy these 28/30 day sim deals & just whack it in the 2nd sim slot for data.

        • This is Not a Re Charge, new number or Port Over from another carrier, simple.

          There is No adding of any numbers unless you call porting number adding number.

    Just be aware you may be waiting a long time for delivery, took 47 days for my Boost sim to arrive!

    • In other words, a customer is not obliged to activate it within 30 days to receive cashback.

      My exp tells me the same.

    • That's very unfortunate. Did you enquire as to why it was delayed for so long ? My one and only time I ordered from boost, my card arrived about 7 - 10 days later.

    • I have a 5 or 6 of $80 belong starter packs i got cheap with my telstra points, i get 3 months out of them then i switch to something like this boost deal then back to the $80 starter pack, rinse repeat. will only last for 12 months then i think the starter packs expire.

      amaysim 6months Groupon is great for your main number and get a 2nd sim for data (like this). that's why if you are sim hopping good to have a dual sim phone.

    I have not been a boost customer yet so a bit hesitant to get the sim especially with delayed sim arrival and cashback delay (it's not a big issue as long as it gets tracked). Also, how easy is it to port in and port out of boost ? Hope there is no hidden cost, etc.

    If the sim gets delayed to arrive can we buy a $2 sim from retail store and activate just like with Kogan and Amaysim ? This would still mean using the service for no cost.

    Might do some research and see the comments till tomorrow before I make a decision.

    Shopback always struggles showing the real offer.

    This link https://boost.com.au/pages/prepaid-plans shows a few more 28 day plans two of which (70 GB and 100 GB) seems to be available for $2 each.
    Too good to be true or is this just for a normal sim without any plan and during activation I need to recharge with $50 or $70 ?

      The difference between when buying the 40 GB plan and say 70 GB plan is that when I click the buy Sim link, on the next page it shows "Offers added" for the former but not for the latter.
      So it might just be a blank $2 sim if I understand correctly.

        Yes, no such cashback option, either. Just 60 or 70 cents cashback for $2 SIM.

        The only worry may be that SB forgets to update cashback rate to $3.5 (like CR). Similar issue happened before with Amaysim.

        I have submitted a request and sent all the required invoice and purchase ID, but by mistake the amount I put in $8 instead of $10. I can't change it now.

        Not like many others who received a $4 tracking - then upgraded to $10, I have never received any tracking confirmation emails.

    • It is an epic failure for SB and/or commission factory as no one reported purchase tracked so far.

    Chances are it won't arrive within 30 Days so doesn't matter if it's $10 or $4 or $100

    But it also says

    "up to $10 cashback"

    So then that means they don't have to pay $10?

    From what I can see, it looks like the orders came through from our affiliate network but at the wrong rate.
    I've flagged this with our operations team to fix asap.
