  How does something like this get the min and max temperature? I understand sensor will get the current temp but how does it get the min and max?

    Sounds like it's the highest and lowest temp recorded for the past X amount of time. Rather than being a prediction for the day

    It'll be okay, sensor isn't super accurate but it's good enough for most uses.

  Based on the size, these are probably best suited for a bedroom/home home office. Although I'm not sure why they've advertised in one of the images as it having a big screen.

    Photoshopped images, on a lot of items out of China especially, very often focus on flattering the product to boost sales, rather than attempting to show reality.

    Just need a quick look through aliexpress to notice this.

    On the OP listing, the 'big screen' wording on one image, combined with the other bedroom image with a disproportionately huge 'photo' of the product, will fool a lot of people.

    Having said all that, this 7cm display is larger than a lot of similar units at this price…but then some of those are bluetooth or wifi smart devices.
