Promotional Period
The promotion begins on 6 January 2022 and ends on 7 March 2022 (the “Promotion Period”), in Australia (“Qualified Country”). The Promotion Period may be changed, terminated or extended without prior notice.

            Their advice did not solve the issue so now I have to wait for them to check another department for answer.

            I think they will just ask you to just swap it out for a new one or ask you to send it in to get investigated further if it doesn’t solve it. I’d do that right from the start so I wouldn’t have to be bounced from department to department to investigate.

    Just opened my 16" and cycle count was at 2.
    From what I've read on MacRumors it isn't that uncommon to have cycle count greater than 0 (lots of 1-3, some outliers at 10+ which people understandably exchanged).
    I'll prob won't bother exchanging mine, though obviously mine is less than yours.

        An update, hopefully it is useful to others. I did not have to chase them up after 1st contact (unlike my previous experiences with Sony and Samsung, POS after sale support). They said got a response from engineering, that 0-2 is normally acceptable but 5 is not and I am entitled to a refund or exchange. They will send someone to pick it up then send me another one. My only annoyance is that it will cost me 1-2 weeks extra.

  I got a clear hardshell case for my MacBook Pro 14 and it seems to be a bit loose. I think it might just be the design of the laptop that's not really case friendly. anybody else got a case for the MacBook Pro 14?

    I would say they would allow the exchange but you would have to return the air pods as that would not be part of the new MacBook Air deal.

  The free Airpods won't be available via AOC portal, but what about 20% off AppleCare+ ($66 off)?

  If AppleCare+ offer can be applied on AOC, I'll buy through there since I don't need Airpods. But if AOC isn't eligible, then I'm torn between AOC vs Apple Edu.

  Price difference if AOC isn't eligible for 20% off AppleCare+:
  *AOC: $3247.3 (device 2918.3 + care 329)
  *Apple Edu: $3302 (device $3039 + care 263) + free Airpods 2
