Got me a $49 blower from someone named Ozito. Brazil. 2003. Good times.

    • +11

      that was a dude

      • +2

        He knows that now.

      • +5

Sigh. I think you're right. Legit female was more $. It's the ozbargain way brother.

      • +3

        6 foot 4 and full of muscle….

        • +2

          Big Mike fools everyone

        • +4

I said, "Do you speak-a my language?" And he just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich

    • +15

      Was it skin only?

      • +10

It rubs the lotion on its skin. Or else it gets the hose again.

      • +3

Pretty sure he went for the full kit lol

  • +6

Skin only meaning no battery yeah? I thought its just the casing nothing inside lol

    • +5

In battery tools, skin only means it comes without a battery or charger, but otherwise is complete.

      • +1

Right ok makes sense. I thought it's like mobile no internals all cosmetic casing only "skin"

  • +2

Its a good basic unit, not very powerful but useful

    • +1

I've had my unit for few years does the job for small garden and drive way

  • +1

Thus is even better if you can manage to find stock https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-blower-and-grass-t… the grass trimmer alone is $99. Good bundle.

    • +2

      The grass trimmer was $29…

    • +6

I’ve used the trimmer but it’s not worth the money. A poor quality product.

      • +1

Agree with the trimmer.. It's kind of poor quality may be good enough for a town house

      • I third this. I gave mine away free.

      • It's good for a tiny garden. Wouldn't spend anymore than as I have a tiny garden.

      • Even the Bunnings staff say the trimmer is rubbish. But the blower/trimmer kit is still good value. It has a bigger battery than the blower-only kit for the same price.

      • Found the trimmer plenty powerful and good for small jobs but converted from the plastic blades to line.

    • It's a crap trimmer, the blade be ak so easily, and could hardly trim buffalo lawn.. . Lucky it's from bunnings, you can just return without issue… Buy a proper stihl electric one, you won't look back

  • Might be good for blow drying car

  • +1

Picked on up today. $72.50 regular price. Enough to blow leaves from our deck or clean up after mowing/pruning.

    • $72.50? Skin only or with battery?

      • Regular price is $72.50 skin only - I think the kit (skin + small 2.5A battery + charger) is $99

  • +1

Just got one. There is another same blower but with a 2ah battery - combo for $99.

  • +1

These do not suck right? As in suck in leafs into a bag.

  • Bought one of the jet blowers the other day after hearing these are pretty weak. The jet model is super powerful!!

  • Thinking about buying this to dry my car, anyone have any experience with this unit?

    • +2

These are not really ideal for drying a car. And yes, I've tried it. You can do it twice as fast and twice as well with a chamois.

    • First thing I tried when I bought that exact blower last week. Not strong enough to make it worth the hassle for drying the car
Edit: need to try again has full battery seems to deliver a bit more power

    • +2

I use if for the tire nuts where water pools and an rust the nuts. Also after chamios where there is always a drip near the bumper or handle or trim where water pools, a blower would help get the trapped water out.

      • +1

I usually just go for a drive afterwards to shake things off

        • +1

That's the best way, but doesn't suit a gravel driveway - may as well not have washed it by the time you get to the road.

    • An air compressor with a blower attachment (and plastic tip guard in case you accidentally touch the paint) is miles ahead of any kind of blower. I had the same idea, but it didn't work well enough.

    • I use this to blow out the water sitting within the side mirror housings, the petrol tank lid, rear number plate and bottom edges of window trims.

And the leaves and debris in the bottom of the wind screen. Works like a charm.

  • Whats the regular price?

  • If you swap the pipe and filter around wouldn't you just have a super up cordless vacuum?

    • +2

      Without a bag?
      .

    • +2

Is this a failed joke? Either way, no.

  • Bought one and i can't believe the power it has. Such a value for $49

  • I love mine. Lightweight easy to use. And it stops me cleaning leaves away with water 🙄

  • +2

Reminder for anyone that needs one with more power to handle leaves on grass, large leaves like from a liquid amber tree etc skip this blower and instead get the Ozito Jet Blower. This $49 one is like a kids toy in comparison (i own both).

    • Agree on the Jet

    • Bunnings no longer stock it, I heard. So where can I get one?

      • It's been back for now a little while about $139. I saw it on the weekend also. Check the website else call up.

      • I've seen it at multiple stores recently - $139 but it's a new model

  • A tool with skin only is not much of a tool amirite

    • It’s perfectly fine… if you already have batteries and chargers that fit it

  • I got this and a 36v one (that also vacuums). I would say I use this 100x more frequently just because it is much lighter and convenient. Great for cleaning up driveway/garage/patio.

  • Is this combo any good for $149

  • I have had one for a few years now, the main reason i bought it was to blow the leaves out of the house gutters. Does the job.

    • I'd never though about doing this before - do you stand on the roof and just let them fly? I'd imagine only do it when it's dry otherwise you'd get wet crap everywhere!?

      • Personally after trying this, I found using a shopvac was much cleaner and did a better job (my gutters have so much dirt and other debris though so I had to spend equal amount of time cleaning ground level after blowing the gutters). Downside is using a shopvac takes longer and requires a long extension cord.

        • I would rather have the leaves and dirt in the garden or on the grass than in the gutters. Can always clean the mess up once i'm finished

      • Yes better to get rid of the crap before it rains

  • +2

    $48 now.

What is the point of leaf blowers?

Everyday I watch my neighbor blow the leaves of his driveway onto the lawn, only for them to be blown back onto the driveway the next day.

Is there something wrong with sweeping up leaves and putting them in the green bin?

    • +2

They are doing it wrong. If they blew them onto their neighbours lawn, the leaves would end up on their neighbours driveway not their own lol.

Seriously though, I only get ~10% blow back if that when blowing into garden beds or the lawn. Plus works great to blow the garage out, and external or internal stair cases, roofs etc. Love my blowers!

    • +1

That's just because he did it wrong.

I use this to get scattered leave into a pile (or along the wall) then I can easily sweep them into the green bin. Much easier than trying to sweep the entire driveway.

  • Got this today works really well. Very light too.

missed opportunity title could be get blown for $49

  • Got one a few days ago. Perfect for cleaning up garden/driveway. Strong enough to blow leaves, debris, even spider webs away.

  • now $72.50 on their website :( looks like i missed out
