hmmm…some one rolled a nat 1 on their marketing skill check.
i personally would be more inclined to buy a "simply less diabetes pack" :P

I think "more" refers to the contents you get in this box for the price, it includes lancet, strips and cover.

        yeah………but…….nevermind

  • Shipping is 10.95 for VIC metro

    • RRP is close enough to total shipped cost, is just under $20.

    Aren't all of these wireless?

  • tbh i think they may have wires inside…so its probs all lies anyway :D

I would think everyone here would know but just in case you don't, if you are diabetic make sure you sign up to the NDSS (National Diabetes Services Scheme). Free needles and very cheap testing strips from almost all pharmacies are available and you should be able to score a free meter too.

actually tbh this is not much of a deal anyway

Accu-Chek Guide meter kit & cover case - free if you are diabetic

    pack of Accu-Chek FastClix lancets 24pack - $6.45 here
    https://www.superpharmacy.com.au/products/accu-chek-fastclix…

    1x pack of Accu-Chek Guide test strips 10pack - $35 for 100pack so 10 about $3.50
    https://www.chempro.com.au/accu-chek-guide-100-test-strips

and all i didn't look hard or take into account NDSS discount

    • Checking on blood glucose levels is not just for diabetic but for wider group who can get diabetic and don't have access to NDSS.

Your comments above on wires, marketing etc. makes no sense to the actual deal itself useful to others and thanks for showing just lancets and test strips, when you don't even know this pack includes the actual meter without which your links to lancets and strips are just useless to anyone who wants to monitor it without access to NDSS.

      Look harder next time.

        umm previous comments were humourous.
not my prob if you dont get it.
fyi you can probably get the test kit for free even without ndss as i have never had to prove i am diabetic to get one, they throw them at you so you will buy their strips
and the prices i quoted were pretty much regular retail.
so still little to no bargain here imo.
this wider group wouldnt include body builders abusing insulin by any chance ?
pre-diabetics would just need to watch their diet.
so before you get snotty with me maybe you should look harder.
        peace out!!!! :D
        <mic drop>

        • I got my meter and first batch of lancets and strips a lot more than this meter. I will never know there are dirt-cheap starter kits like this without this listing here so it's very much a deal.

And yeah I couldn't agree more with ozdesi as that's exactly how I experienced.

            • @rakeem: Calm down and save your silly humor for yourself.
You can't get free meter without NDSS else you would have bothered to post a deal here for free one.
Neither can you get lancets and strips at the retail price you claim without consider shipping charge or petrol costs for going to random stores.
There is no point in proving to someone who wants to get diabetic first to then get a free meter NDSS claimed to monitor glucose levels.

              • @ozdesi: lol….
                a) humor is supposed to be shared, maybe just dont make inane comments on it, better to ignore it unless you understand it coz u make your self look bad
                b) yes you can, and with a little research you might have found out how but obviously it is easier for you to just deny it
                c) neither can you get your deal without postage unless you live near the store just like if your local chemist was having a sale, and only the strips i posted were marked down and not by much

seems you don't really understand how these things are marketed, why they only give you a few strips and lancets which are the cheapest bits to manufacture or why "more diabetes pack" is a really ludicrous thing to call it
