Who doesn't love boba / bubble tea?
$4.75 at Coles and even Asian groceries sell them for around that price or higher
Very easy to make at home, and works out much cheaper for big families
Enjoy :)

Limited-time deal: Sugar Honey Instant Black Pearls, 200 g https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08RZHM233/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_g…
damn oos now :(
The 200g version still available just now.
Temporarily OOS.
Where's everyone's go to place to get some powder?
Make your own, any generic brand teabag+condensed milk will taste just as good if not better than premade powder and will be healthier as well (and yeah i get it sugar aint exactly healthy but still)
Yeah, that's sorta what I'm doing atm since I haven't bothered to buy powders yet.
Mine is something like milk/creamer +teabag + sugar/sucrose + pearls/jelly. The mixtures depends on how lazy I am at the time of making it
Then keep on what you are already doing I say :)
That is exactly what I do when I don't have these packets
Do you have to cook the whole pack once opened? Or can you cook enough for a drink and reseal the left overs?
I just boil what is enough, they're dried in the packet so you can reseal them
This works out significantly cheaper if you live Sydney. $17 for 3kg of tapioca pearls, plus these are made in Taiwan as opposed to China in this deal.
Also if you purchase with cash in person (they have a shopfront in Cabramatta), it's actually even cheaper than the online price.
I've bought tapioca pearls (sometimes the taro/matcha powder too) from here several times now, we go through these pearls FAST.
plus these are made in Taiwan as opposed to China in this deal.
The CCP has entered the chat.
Good deal and made in Taiwan. Win win.
Thanks, I’ll make a visit when I go to Cabra next time
Nice! Even the online prices seem reasonable, I'll definitely check it out next time I'm nearby.
Did they have any affiliation with the one that used to be in Bankstown? Shame I never checked out the one in Bankstown even though I always walked past it
I have not been to Bankstown since primary school, so I cannot say I'm afraid.
They don't advertise you can buy the pearls/powders directly, it looks just like a typical bubble tea shop from the outside.
Are the powder any good compare to what you buy from the shops?
Yes, they are just like the ones from bubble tea shops, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if those shops use these powders.
However I use milk instead of water, and I don't add fructose in mine. For the taro milk tea, I sometimes add taro paste as well to make it thicker and richer.
Do they sell Royal Milk Tea flavour? Also what's the Taro paste you're talking about?
plus these are made in Taiwan
Thank you, ordered one and a few other items.
made in Taiwan as opposed to China
It's a province of China we dont say made in Western Australia do we
Do these taste any good? I was tempted to buy them few weeks ago but wasn’t 100% sure.
If you had coco milk tea pearls before these are basically the same as that.
So these go on sale quite a bit then? I got them for the 12% cashback back in November for 45c cashback lol.
It’s only dropped during Black Friday and then again for Boxing Day. I don’t know how many times it’s gone down before Black Friday though
My ex keeps telling me to eat sugar honey ice tea, wonder if this compares?

What are the pearls actually made of?
topioca, which mainly comes from the cassava plant
Thanks. Looks like topioca is actually pretty healthy. So the tea is probably not terrible if low sugar.
Just don't swallow the pearls and you'll be fine
How is it cheaper for big families though? Is the a big family discount code?
