Worth buying just for the accessories.

  • Was going to get a Dremel, but this is too good to pass up and probably works just as well. Thanks OP.

    • First review was that it didn't work.

I did see that. But most are positive. It can happen, but I think it should be OK and for $20 well worth the buy. Been wanting a rotary tool for a while now and think with Dremel you're just paying for the name. This is probably similar (or a rebrand) of the one that Supercheap Auto sells, which also has good reviews.

        • That was the only real review.
Only other written review was meaningless - "bought as a xmas present" 5star.

Best of luck - It's an attractive price.

  • Thanks, got one

  • Thanks OP, bought one. I’ve been using an Ozito cordless with Dremel bits. This corded version may have more grunt for tougher jobs.

  • lmao just 10 mins before post i had purchased the Ryobi one,

    However THank you
I snagged one at least for the accessories :)

  • Wow a business called CDAEastland trade supplies is flogging this model for $170! https://www.cdaets.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&pa…. How crazy is that when Catch says the usual price is only $69.
My Dremel 300 is having speed issues. Its a toss up between tacking a punt on this or buying a new controller in the hope that it will fix the issue & that its not the components on the mains board. Leaning to getting this.
Wonder if the Dremel flex shaft will be able to connect to this?

  • Anyone had theirs delivered yet? Mine is past the ETA for delivery now. Wondering if it got lost in the Aus Post sorting centre..

I got mine yesterday. Incredible value for money with all the accessories. Also, the accessories are stored neatly in a large plastic case that can be wall mounted.

Note: You need to remove the big sticker as the case opens from the middle. I initially opened it from the side hinges as the sticker was covering the opening of the two doors.

      • Wow looks great. Hopefully mine will turn up in the coming days, a steal for $20.

    • Got mine today (was at post office for a few days). Much much bigger than I expected.
Unfortunately the case itself is quite poor quality and doesn’t hold all the bits properly and the door itself can’t close properly on the back. However for the price I can’t complain (I got all the parts).
Will find an alternative box for all the parts as the original case won’t be sufficient.
