Sapphire crystal glass, thinner casing, better water resistance, better and longer lasting in-house built a movement, cyclops date, better design (imo), rubber strap (Seiko bracelets are known to not be the best quality and rubber is easier to clean if you use this watch daily).

Sapphire glass is higher on the Mohs scale of hardness than Mineral glass (normal glass, like you'd find on your phone screen). As such, it is more resistant to scratches.

This is a proper dive watch with 200m water resistance. It also has a ceramic bezel (in addition to all the features listed by premium1299.

If you're on the fence about this watch, buy it right away! The dial looks absolutely stunning. Very well built piece, it's a bargain for $475. Kinda regretting buying for $549 a few months ago, but have really enjoyed wearing it!
