You just saved $2900. and $500 cashback
The retail price of Rx100 VI is $1289 (thereabouts)
Even when you are not trying, you still save a lot of money on OZB.
i would question why you need 10 of them. I am sure you have good reasons.
but they are SOOOOO cheap with 50 bucks off ……
Certainly has held its value well
People still buy these when they own $2000 phones π€π€π€
Phones have limited functions
Cameras like the RX series produce a superior image overall IMO
Every now and again I pull out my older RX100 and take some shots with it for events and such, and they're always the ones that get used later because they're still just that much better than even a great phone camera. The phone is still using the software to fill in a lot of the gaps and while it's perfect 95% of the time, sometimes it's nice to have something good for that 5% of times.
Yeah. The aperture and uncompromised zoom is good whereas smartphones have smaller sensors for their telephotos.
The battery lasts for weeks or months.
Itβs held its price well indeed. I paid this price almost a year ago to the day from JB.
Great solid camera in both build and picture quality.
I kinda want the Mark V.
I do more low light photography.
Got this two months ago without the $50 cashback and no regrets whatsoever. Can save an extra $50 if you use discount JB gift cards though.
Had the RX100 II for about 7 years until I lost it at an airport. Great camera and would still be using it's 3x zoom and 1080p video today if hadn't lost it (and whoever found it not handed it in).
The RX100 VI with 4K video, 8x optical zoom & great shutter speed is even better.
My smartphone needs are pretty basic, so I would rather upgrade to a runout price older smartphone when needed, plus have a great pocketable camera like this that will last me 10 years for half the price of a smartphone that has any chance of coming close in photo or video quality.
Only downside to this model is the increased optical zoom lens makes it a tad thicker, meaning you need to use a slighter deeper compact camera case than for many of the other RX100 versions.
Gotta say, I'm still rocking a Mk I bought in 2013. Missing a lot of the newer features but still takes great photos at family gatherings!
Yes, I too had a mk i which I later sold and replaced with a mk iv.
Gotta day, great camera series and other than physical features on the camera, there's little difference between picture quality between the two.
Yep same boat. Mk1 still a terrific little unit. 28-100mm is the ideal zoom range for a compact, I reckon
cheaper now!
Good lord, price has doubled now!
wow a whole 50 bucks off let me buy 10 of them……
