    1. Don't make a purchase you weren't already going to make
    2. Only use the BNPL service if there is a discount incentive
    3. Immediately pay the entire balance as soon as the initial purchase is complete

    Using BNPL companies for anything other than all three of the above points is poor financial/impulse control.

      If you have good control of your finances and something worth keeping your money invested in paying off the owed amount as late as possible without incurring fees is the best option

      4 You're still supporting the BNPL industry as the retailer will still be paying fees (potentially driving up the prices in general at the store). I put my ethics above saving a few bucks.

      I only bought once through latitude, but it seems better than afterpay.
      Pay back in 10 weeks. Payment are taken from my 28° which I've got max 55days to settle anyway. Don't see how someone could miss a payment. Buy and forget, only pay back CC balance before statement date to avoid insurance fee (price protection)
      I agree with your 3rd point for afterpay tho.
