  If you sign up for VIP in-store do you become a VIP straight away or does the card have to get mailed to you?

    They gave me a card straight away 2 days ago. They entered the details into the computer, & I used a $10 free voucher (ened today).
    Signing up online gives you an instant membership number via email - copy it & use it, but never sent a card.

        I signed up online about 6 months ago but they didn't end up sending me my card…

        I have been signed up as a VIP member for ages (I signed up instore once) and have never received a single email from them. I realised the other day how many coupons and deals I have been missing. I was very annoyed, and tried to re-sign up online, and I have the same problem, not one email.

        I have checked my spam folder as well, nothing…I think I will have to go in and get them to manually put me on the email list.

        Has anyone else had this problem?

      I emailed Spotlight & received this response:
      "Thank you for your email. We appreciate the time you have taken to contact us. I do apologise that you have not been issued with a VIP card yet. I have located you on the system and issued you with a new card which will be sent out today." [email protected] (3 months after joining online)
