Lots of free VPNs (ProtonVPN and Windscribe, for example) available, however my experience is that they are slow, unreliable or have download limits. They are OK in a pinch but if you want to use VPN regularly get one of the paid VPNs. I've been using surfshark for the last year or so. It's not super fast but generally reliable.

Too risky I think. What if they don't honour the click which many people have been reporting.
I did mine through the shopback app so good luck with them not honouring it as shopback would be able to pull logs on that based off clientid/type or what not
