Terms and Conditions

This promotion is open to Cashrewards members who are also ANZ or ANZ Plus customers (“Eligible Entrants”). To qualify for any bonus cashback under this promotion (each a “Bonus”), Eligible Entrants must shop online at any participating store set out in the table at the end of these Terms and Conditions (each a “Store”) using a Cashrewards platform between 12:00am AEDT 16 December 2024 and 11:59pm AEDT 31 January 2025 (“Promotional Period”) and spend at least the ‘minimum spend’ amount (including GST, but excluding delivery fees) corresponding to that Store, as set out in the aforementioned table, on any single transaction that is eligible for cashback (each a “Qualifying Purchase”). The Bonus to be awarded for a Qualifying Purchase will be the ‘bonus cashback’ amount corresponding to the associated Store as set out in the table at the end of these Terms and Conditions.

A Qualifying Purchase excludes the purchase of ineligible items as set out in the associated Store special terms or items with a 0% cashback rate at the time of purchase.
For Woolworths Online, a Qualifying Purchase also excludes the purchase of any Everyday Market items. Any purchases that are returned or cancelled do not qualify for this promotion. Cashrewards Terms of Use (https://www.cashrewards.com.au/terms-and-conditions) apply to the use of the Cashrewards platform and any associated purchase. Each Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account per calendar day during the Promotion Period, and is over and above the advertised Store cashback rates which still apply to the transaction. A Bonus may also be used in conjunction with the Cashrewards Nifty Fifty bonus cashback promotion for eligible ANZ Plus customers or the welcome bonus cashback offer for eligible ANZ customers that may apply to the transaction. Where an Eligible Entrant completes a Qualifying Purchase, the corresponding Bonus will appear as ‘pending’ in the Eligible Entrant’s Cashrewards account by 28 February 2025. The Bonus will be approved in the Eligible Entrant's Cashrewards account by the end of the following month after the associated Qualifying Purchase is approved by the relevant Store (for example, if the Qualifying Purchase is approved in February 2025, the Bonus will be approved by 31 March 2025). Cashrewards reserves the right to verify a member’s eligibility as an ANZ or ANZ Plus customer with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (“ANZ”), and to disqualify any member who ANZ determines is not an ANZ or ANZ Plus customer or who Cashrewards determines has not met these terms and conditions. Where a member is disqualified, Cashrewards also reserves the right to cancel or reverse the payment of any bonus cashback that has already been made under this promotion. Fraudulent or other activity in violation of the Cashrewards Terms of Use (https://www.cashrewards.com.au/terms-and-conditions) will result in rewards being forfeited and Cashrewards member accounts closed.

Don't have to use ANZ card as payment?

How does CR know you're an ANZ customer?

    • It could be anything from CR add on in ANZ plus app or by payment method, or ANZ linked bank account in settings

… Cashrewards reserves the right to verify a member’s eligibility as an ANZ or ANZ Plus customer with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (“ANZ”), and to disqualify any member who ANZ determines is not an ANZ or ANZ Plus customer or who Cashrewards determines has not met these terms and conditions.

The last time I used the new customer - $50 cashback on $30 spend was via clicking the link in ANZ app and I can confirm the 50$ was tracked and already in my bank Account. So, recommend clicking the Link via ANZ app.

        • +3

So, recommend clicking the Link via ANZ app.

          That is completely unnecessary.
If you haven't removed the CR tile then the link between your ANZ Plus account and CR account is still in place.

          • @DoctorCalculon: So it's the link to Cashrewards within the ANZ Plus app? Is that documented anywhere?

          • @DoctorCalculon: Idk mate..Never checked it via the PC browser. I did it via the ANZ-Plus phone app which opens a browser plugin to cashrewards page and allows to checkout any partner website through that In-app Browser. I reckon, the data traffic is still redirected via the ANZ app. I don't muck around too much with these cashback Sites as i'm afraid it avoids tracking. But happy to be corrected.

            That is completely unnecessary.

If you have an ANZ App..might as well.
Not unnecessary if it increases your chances of tracking/Avoiding the Hypertext Link play around.

It depends on individual’s experience. Not that long ago i raised a ticket for my Croc’s dishonoured cashback, did everything correctly and I’m not a noob. Their reply was the standard bs saying they can’t do anything coz retailer decided the cashback was attributed elsewhere, despite me giving them screenshot of when the order was made.
I didnt argue, i just simply threatened that it’s their loss that they’re about to lose a long standing member (me) and i’d be ranting everywhere saying their CS is unhelpful and everyone I know should avoid.
Lo and behold, following email reply was them saying they’d honour it out of pocket this one time as a goodwill.
DGAF out of pocket or not, i know I was right and end result they paid me out, so that’s that.

Maybe its because you paid with a mastercard, and not the ANZ Visa 😀

    • +1

Yeah I Cashrewards is terrible, slow on CS replies. Not even worth the effort

    • I had 2 CB that didnt track and when i sent them emails, they sorted both out (one was a Myer 20% worth $25 and the other was Nordvpn worth $130)

This is all cashback apps though. Good to remember you shouldn't buy something for the sake of cashback, only if you were already going to buy the item.

    • tracks way better than topcashback

Does it work if purchasing amazon gift cards?

    • +1

No, because GCs are items of 0% cb rate or ineligible ones

      Stated:
A Qualifying Purchase excludes the purchase of ineligible items as set out in the associated Store special terms or items with a 0% cashback rate at the time of purchase.

      • What about prime yearly membership? That'd be a good way to save $10 for a lot of users here.

        • +1

I didn't see it in the eligible categories. You can check it by checking Cashrewards Amazon cashback page

      • Damn, Toys & Games are excluded….

    • Nope. They have an army of people who scrutinise every transaction to find a way to not give you the cashback.

If you want cashback for buying an Amazon gift card, try Commbank Yello

  • If you go into ANZ Plus and Add Add-Ons, you can select Cashrewards and log into it.
It doesn't positively state that you're now in "ANZ Circle", though.

    • There's a banner to ANZ circle after you go into CR via ANZ plus. I did that to buy a bunnings $50. See what happens

  • Thanks OP thanks ANZ/CR.

I didn’t get that $50 from ANZ plus cr deal last time and cr didn’t even reply me when enquiry raised. The instructions are super vague.

    • +1

Me neither. I don't trust it.

  • finding the wording to be a little vague.
"Each Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account per calendar day during the Promotion Period".

does that mean I could buy a bunnings gift card today, and then another one tomorrow and get the bonus twice?

    • I've been curious about the same one. If it was limited to one bonus per Cashrewards account then it would usually say "Each Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account during the Promotion Period". I've purchased two just to see but the problem is the bonus getting allocated at the end of Jan and Feb as I purchased one on 31/12 and the other one today. Well, that is if I get 2 x bonuses 🤞
