I'm still annoyed that Coles increased the price of home brand instant noodles by 25c.

    • are they any good?

      • Coles home-brand? It not that good the flavour is generic and watery. I mainly buy it for the cheap noodles to make my DIY Paldo Bibim Men.

      home brand instant noodles

      You should try nissin noodles

      • +1

Nissin is the backbone of my childhood. They go rid of my beloved duck flavour though (found the same taste at Aldi). Always eat it for the flavour when I want thin instant noodles over Shin Ramyun. I recommend trying Jinmailang Emperor Spicy Chicken it is pretty good.

        • my beloved duck flavour

Never try, must be made in Japan Nissin not Hong Kong.

          • @superforever: Almost certain it was Hong Kong. It been discontinued since 2012 I think. The packaging was a dark purple… you can get the taste from Aldi to try it but its spend at $1.70 for a cup.

So this is for 1 pack? Sounds expensive…maybe I am out of touch with how much instant ramen costs these days.

    • So this is for 1 pack? Sounds expensive

They are not the same kind of instant noodle, something like this

      https://thaikee.com.au/products/nissin-instant-noodles-miso-…

    • The noodles are dried instead of dried fried so the texture is different. But there is nothing different from buying say dried Asian noodles and adding to the soup packages.

      • these same packs should be like $5-7 at an asian supermarket

  • Need to be an ebay plus member for code to be applied

  • I bought some. Seems like going price is around $4.60 and good reviews.

  • why is it $12 for me. I have ebay plus

    • +1

probably you have used the code PLUS10XM before?

      • I think I have…ok didn't realise that's one-time only. Thanks.

  • That's an interesting looking robot.

This seems like a way to rort ebay out of their $10 coupon? $12 noodles that are $4 to $5 everywhere else?

    • +1

Why would you care about eBay?

      $2 noodles is good

  • These noodles are typically around $7 at an Asian supermarket. And they are delicious and probably worth $7 for the taste. $12 is far to much though.

  • I just bought 1 pack and paid for it through afterpay. Looks like I'm on a budget until these 50c fortnightly payments clear.

Just hope the free shipping it comes with doesn't end up with broken strands of noodles.

  • the thought of having a single pack of noodles shipped for $2 feels wrong and wasteful

  • +3

    $2 a pack? Yes please.

$12 a pack with a $10 one off discount. What the hell is this shit?

  • I miss samyang U don noodles! where can I get them?

  • Refund.

  • Arrived a Nissin Raoh, which is not on the list, will request refund
