need to edit the second one, actually a 5600G with B550m MB, other components are same.

    • fixed :)

  • Hi OP not sure if you're associated but will there be 3080TI deal?

  • Why an APU if it's coming with a dGPU?

Probably a cheaper way for them to get ahold of a Zen3 6c12t CPU, besides, if the GPU goes kaput at least you have an IGPU so you can still use the PC while the graphics card is being sent away under warranty (for example)

just buy a cheap spare card :p

They are just really cheap as an OEM part at the moment. It's better than a 3600x (although not as good as a 5600x).

I would go for the AMD option, and upgrade to the upcoming Zen 3 refresh of their 8 core cpu when it comes out

I would recommend Alienware (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/393731848561) instead of this.
You can get a 3080Ti and 11400F for $2,899.00 shipped.

I am seeing a very different price.

        Look above postage.

I am seeing a very ugly case

Despite some of these components being a bit bargain bin, they're still miles ahead of what you'd find in the AW prebuilt you linked

Alienware is actually quite decent for the building quality, Alienware quality > XPS > Inpiron. I have one R12, I changed 2 fans to ML120, then it runs quieter and cooler. And remember you have to pay more than $2488/2588 for delivery and credit card fees, the Dell one you can save more by using cashback and discount ebay gift cards.

    • alienware pre-builts have a pretty bad reputation for using awful components don't they?

      • Yeah, there was a review or 2 on youtube which didn't go down well in the last 6 mo.

With these delivery times vague between dec-jan, that is not good from customers point of view, companies should strive to deliver the product asap that the cx has paid for. Not to use cx money for a month or two. I don’t how this became acceptable practice. If companies need to be sure of the money before they order parts or have to wait for cx money in order to assemble stuff means the company is not secure in terms of finances. they should sell what they have, to be delivered quickly. Everything else is just not right. I mean it’s not like a cake, that if they don’t sell in couple days it’ll go bad. Maybe they have valid reason from their pov for these delivery times, but from cx pov, not good enough.

I mean waiting for a batch of GPU's to come is a pretty valid reason. They're being ordered in regardless of customers.

I do not recommend buying from them, plainly because they are unreliable and not trustworthy. They have no direct line for calling and all queries and issues are only dealt with through email. I had a faulty PSU in my build and upon contacting them via email, they agreed for me to return the PSU and be given a refund. I've returned the PSU to them 3 months ago, and I still haven't got my money back. Will never deal with them again.

    • any suggestions where to go?

  • Any idea what brand the GPU would be?
