I own this keyboard and no longer use it, because the ergonomics are very poor (bad key design/layout, causing wrist strain). I thought all keyboards got such basics things right, and one would be no different from the other, but this keyboard rapidly dispelled that notion. Consider trying it out at a shop at least, before buying it.
really that bad? I have an old mk550 something with the unifying dongle and its been quite good

Well, the keyboard is robust enough, and cheap except for the ergonomics. This has been my wife's and my own opinion. It would be excellent for something like an HTPC, where you might do very little typing, and wrist-strain is hardly a concern.
On the other hand, if you plan to use it for an extended length of time, I'd recommend caution. The problem is, it causes your wrists to turn away from each other (more so than comparable keyboards), instead of towards each other (which is how good ergonomic keyboards are normally designed).
I can't comment on the mk550 because I don't think I've used one, but the mk260 should be approached with great caution IMO.
Summary: If you are looking at short periods of use, go for it! It's really cheap and works well. If not, save yourself some RSI.
I own the keyboard combo, might not use it extensively for making thesis or anything but for regular joe browsing and email… I think it's a good bargain for a wireless and pretty good at that.
We use 2 sets of these here… had them for about a year.. no probs whatsoever… battery life is very good.

I have had some problems with keyboard dyslexia but I seem to get that with all keyboards… LOLLLL
