I think this is the best fresh coffee deal we've ever done. It's an extension of our unique delayed dispatch feature, as an addition rather than a replacement. We've received numerous requests over the last month to create an automated system for repeat delayed dispatch orders to be placed, all derived from a single order. This deal is for 6 prepaid monthly deliveries. It's not a subscription in the traditional sense because it will not automatically renew after your 6th dispatch. We call it our Frequent Buyers Club. You can't really travel to too many destinations at the moment, so this is our way of you having the freedom of choosing to be taken to a preset coffee destination or going to a surprise destination (the "Mystery Flight"). Over time we plan to add more special features to this Club. Some helpful info:
-You're welcome to place multiple orders as gifts with gift notes or simply to mix and match for variety. Complimentary gift notes can be written in the "special instructions for seller" box on the cart page."
-We roast on demand and think fresh is best so your order will be freshly roasted likely 24-48 business hours before dispatch for each of your 6 dispatches
-The discount price will show up after the "cart" stage of the ordering process AKA once you start entering in your delivery details
-Any Frequent Buyers Club orders will not automatically renew after your 6th dispatch, please ignore any messaging that said it will, that messaging is just automatically generated by the Recharge App, feel free to screenshot this comment for peace of mind. The orders made between now and Monday for products in the Frequent Buyer Club at for 6 dispatches and no more, we need to see how this first trial goes to see whether we'll offer it again after the first 6 dispatches are complete :)
-The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4*1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag. 500g bag packing is available for an extra $2.88 per kg including the discount (normally $6 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
The first dispatch for the Frequent Buyer Club is set for February 2022 for 3 main reasons:
1) If we shipped the first orders today we'd lose money. $4.99 flat rate shipping is not financially viable today. We're hopeful we'll be there or much closer by Feb 2022. This deal is a bit of a risk for us, if we only get a few orders we'll lose money on the deal, if we get a lot then fantastic it gets us all that much closer to reducing shipping shipping for regular orders and adding more options/features such as allowing smaller orders of 500g quantities
2) Lots of people may be away catching up with family or traveling in December and January, it may only be intrastate or interstate. It didn't make sense to start dispatch immediately
3) There's huge coffee shortages for a number of reasons and green/raw coffee prices have increased 40-100% in the last 6 months or so and will likely keep increasing. The Frequent Buyers Club allows to forecast better for 2022 with a plan for the worst hope for the best approach. If we go into 2022 thinking it'll be like 2021 two things will happen, we'll have to raise prices significantly and we'll run out of coffee, neither of which is good for us or you, we're doing our best to be smart and think ahead :)
*For those who need fresh coffee sooner than Feb 2022, don't worry we're working on our next deal for immediate rolling dispatch options. It'll launch once shipping channels clear up from big box store sales, likely in the next week or two. Please note our next deal won't have an many variety options, the discount won't be as much and the flat rate shipping will be more than $4.99, all that said I still think it's a terrific deal, otherwise we wouldn't launch it :)
It appears that I'm subscribing for >6 months. Is that true? Or is it a 6 month sub only?
