Perhaps the most hyped IEM of 2021 for 10% off retail. Could be another value paradigm shifting IEM, with a few reviewers noting that there's very little reason to spend the extra money for the higher priced and much loved Moondrop Blessing 2 / Dusk.

What makes the Timeless especially interesting is that it uses a planar magnetic driver, commonly found on full sized headphones. Previous planar IEMs have been quite polarising, but these seem to have very few detractors. Apparently has a warm to neutral, bass boosted sound signature.

I bit the bullet and ordered one, hoping they'll be a nice upgrade from my Fiio FH3.

      How do you find the bass quantity? Apparently the Dusk improves on this front. I was eyeing the B2D originally before stumbling across the 7Hz.

        It's just the right amount with spinfit, but with the stock tips it can be weak. Would have bought the dusk if it was on aliexpress with 100% social good cashback.

    As per last time, AliE sales are kicking in, and Amazon cashbacks may make a Shenzhen order via there more appealing.

    Moondrop Kato a consideration alongside this as an elevation of the Moondrop KXXS/Aria/Starfield signature.

      Yeah, the Kato seems to be the biggest competition to the 7Hz at the moment. Decided to go with the 7Hz because I've had plenty of dynamic IEMs in the past and am a big fan of planar headphones.

      I think the GST on Aliexpress orders might kill the value of any cashbacks and I doubt the Amazon cashback will knock $50 off - but it does come with the benefit of dealing directly with Amazon. Shenzen live chat is surprisingly responsive!

        It's $270 on AliE with 6% from Shopback, and if there are decent AliE flash offers for cashbacks, 7Hz could be as little as $240 on AliE. Nothing appearing on Amazon yet.

        Kato should come in closer to $220 if that kicks off as well.

          If you're on the ball with AE, could get yourself a great deal! That said, I reckon I'd still go with Shenzen over AE just because their customer service seems to be pretty good + zero hassle with getting a decent price. Amazon would definitely best both, so might be worth paying a little extra.

      The dry delivery of his content is hilarious. His content is charming with a lot of substance without the condescending tone which plagues the HIFI community.

    Received mine yesterday. 4.4 version with 4.4 to 2.5/3.5 adaptors. Was monitoring this seller but bought on aliexpress. I'm not sure if the item will be taxed at customs buying from this seller as they don't charge it like others… Going to replace factory cable as well.

        Very enjoyable. I believe I can hear much more details than before. Sound stage, tone and instrument separation are good for this price range not to mention the sub-bass. Loving it!

      B2 goes on sale quite frequently, but I think the Dusk has never gone on sale
