Perhaps the most hyped IEM of 2021 for 10% off retail. Could be another value paradigm shifting IEM, with a few reviewers noting that there's very little reason to spend the extra money for the higher priced and much loved Moondrop Blessing 2 / Dusk.
What makes the Timeless especially interesting is that it uses a planar magnetic driver, commonly found on full sized headphones. Previous planar IEMs have been quite polarising, but these seem to have very few detractors. Apparently has a warm to neutral, bass boosted sound signature.
I bit the bullet and ordered one, hoping they'll be a nice upgrade from my Fiio FH3.
Positive Reviews:
* 1. Crinacle - Video Review - Easily the best-tuned planar IEM by a country mile, the Timeless is also no slouch on the technical front.
* 2. The Honest Audiophile - Video Review - The 7Hz combines the best of the Yume and the Blessing 2, I highly recommend it
* 3. Headphones.com - Review - Right off the bat, I will say that I would recommend the Timeless over the Dusk. Not because it’s actually better from a sound quality perspective, but because it is cheaper by about $100, fits much more comfortably, and comes close enough to the Dusk that I don’t think the extra cost is warranted. […] At $220, there are no caveats here that make me hesitate to recommend the 7Hz Timeless.
Negative Review:
* SuperReviews - Video Review - 3/5 stars - I don't love it, the Hana 21 and the Kato are more engaging to listen to if you want a warmer, bass focused sound signature.
