My gerni just died. I've already invested in a longer hose and a foam cannon. Are there adapters you can get to make them compatible with the karcher? Or am I best to continue to sit patiently for a gerni sale?

Aside: I'd love to know how many K2 washers (and it's predecessor - name unknown) - alongside washers from Gerni, Ryobi, Homelite et al - are in landfill.
These cheap'n'cheerful Chinese pressure washers are poles apart in terms of reliability (and cost) from the mid-range and above models in Karcher's line-up. They highlight "the poor pay more" paradox. I must have wasted close to $800 over 10 years buying the cheaper units. They all fail the same way (pump failure) with less than (estimated) 40 hours of use each. Of course, the two year warranty is based on lapsed time so if you buy one off these make sure you used it regularly and double-down the thrashing as you get closer to the end of two years.
I finally dropped the extra coin to buy a Karcher K4 during a sale and have never looked back. The K4 and above are engineered to completely different 5+2 year warranty.

I'd love a Kranzel 1050TS. One thing that put me off was the much shorter (2yr) warranty and lack of a local (Sydney) service centre.

I dunno man, I've thrown my K2 around like crazy. It's even fallen into the pool a couple of times whilst running and it still works well everytime.

Can you use a pressure washer to clean the car? I thought it would damage the paint and induce rust.
