  • I note that BARGAIN, OZBARGN, OZBRGN were all available when I searched tonight… Someone has to!

    • I wanted to go with JOBKEEP, JOBKPR or JBKEEPR and whack it on a lambo and see how that went at the carpark…

  • Coming from QLD to SA , I found SA plates are much cheaper than the QLD plates.

      • Personalised plates have a once off fee of $180 in SA
        https://ezyplates.sa.gov.au/plate_styles/personalised_number…

        • And according to this page they have a annual fee. Weird.

          • @Chris McMahon: As far as I know there are different types of customisable plates.
            I bought "Personalised plates"
They have a once off fee of $180.
You can choose a combination of:

1 letter followed by 5 numbers
2 letters followed by 4 numbers
3 letters followed by 3 numbers
4 letters followed by 2 numbers
5 letters followed by 1 number

            • @Gen Ice: I think the cheaper SA option has more limitations, while the annual fee version is closer to the QLD plates where you have fewer restrictions.

For my QLD plate, it's 6 letters, no numbers. Just checked and you need the SA annual plate to have all letters like mine.

              • @Chris McMahon: True. That's why I didn't buy a plate in QLD, too expensive for the couple of years I have lived there.

                • @Gen Ice: Fair enough. Doesn't make sense if you're only going to keep it a few years, even if you get something with a decent resale value.

  • Lame…I just missed out

  • Deal is still on. Just bought new plates with the code.
I had a feeling it expired in error at midnight last night.
