  • Did eBay change where codes appear for your account? I don't see any codes in summary anymore. I usually get the monthly plus codes there. Never used any of them but they were there…

    • You are not targeted. I am also not targeted.

      • But I don't even see my monthly eBay code, which I have not used yet.

        • I don't have a monthly code either. So much for my ebay plus subscription.

@Ostrk: I contacted ebay customer service and they gave me a $5 code with no minimum spend :)

    • I never see them at the top of my account either regardless if I'm using the windows desktop, Samsung tablet or mobile phone.

  • For some of the cheaper items, I noticed feeBay sellers started using Se**** or other delivery companies. Their so called "express" is so slow that they took 2 weeks and missed the feeBay estimated delivery date by days (one of them missed by 1 week).

I thought feeBay is funding the postage so why go for cheaper postage? Anyway, feeBay provided a $5 voucher to compensate, but it is a conditional voucher.

    • Claim the full postage amount.
      Send using a cheaper service.
      Profit.

Because they claim the item is in Oz
They flag it as being sent (usually via fake tracking#)
They get it bulk shipped from China
      Send it from NT
It turns up….they take the money, bad luck to you.

I've caught a few out asking for a return address which had been OS.

      • I've noticed this too. I often end up with free items though, because the second it is out of the delivery date range I demand a refund and eBay always accepts. Serves them right for lying about the shipping origin, because I mostly chose to pay extra for the item to be sent from within Australia for faster delivery times which most often ends up taking weeks.

    • Auspost is no longer reliable during this Chrismas quarter. Every other courier company at least will delivery within the period. I've stopped using Auspost myself unless it's just a letter.

  • All I've received recently is:
"spend $90 to receive your $10 gift card on December 17th"

Meh… With the way ebay prices have gone in recent times it's pointless…

  • Bugger.. i got this one but there is something i wanted for $29.95 haha

I message eBay support asking where my $5 monthly vouchers have gone, as I didn't get any in Nov on both my accounts.

Got the usual 'technical difficulties' fob-off, but they gave me a $5 voucher (no minimum spend) to make up for it.

Ask eBay directly if you haven't got yours!

While you’re at it check that your eBay plus subscription is still cancelled as mine got mysteriously uncancelled, so I had to cancel it again!
