Was looking for a dish rack and came across this one. Seems big enough and was surprised that it was at an all time low. RRP is $84.95 from OXO but can be had for around $60 normally elsewhere.

I believe $4 Ikea dish drying rack which is most similar to this is the $30 Variera, though smaller and possibly not able to store as easily

The $4 Ikea dish drying rack is the Flundra; the Flundra has a $26 price difference to the Variera so I assume the Flundra may be not be comparable to even it's Ikea stablemate in quality and usefulness.

That $4 one looks great to me. That's the one that I'll be going for if my stainless steel one ever needs replacing.
Personally I don’t know who would ever put it away.. there basically always a dish drying at our house.
So fold away is a wasted gesture. The $4 ikea one is our current champion

you get what you pay for. they make excellent, functional and heavy duty kitchenware. i own some ice cube trays with a silicone cover which helps minimise freezer odours in your frosty beverage. a while ago they had some tongs at tgg which was a popular deal here.
I do agree that OXO stuff is decent. Even their kitchen scissors are good, and they come apart for washing / dishwasher.

I don't understand what the use scenario for this is. Surely if you're drip drying things, by the time they're dry it's presumably the next meal and time to put more things on there?
I guess maybe if you were using very infrequently used things such as cookware, but this obviously is intended to be used for dishes…
