This multi-layer construction makes the Santoku knife extremely sharp, durable and reliable. Perfect for any kitchen, from restaurants to homes. The Damascus steel outer layers also prevent corrosion of the blade, giving it increased longevity and resistance against acid foods and constant washing. A machined grip handle provides control whilst you cut and prepare foods.

    That makes no sense. VG10 has brilliant corrosion resistance. Could be a softer cladding to protect the harder vg10? But I don't think that's typically done either?

    Anyway $20 for a vg10 knife is pretty good! At least for the steel.

      • Haha yeah it's $20….provided it's actually vg10 and they did a proper heat treat it should be good. Ahhh wait maybe that is a bit much to expect lol

    nothing is ever in stock and they have so many pricing errors in the past.

    • Im not sure but when i went there to purchase polycarbonate tubs they seemed to have everything i needed
