I bought the 64GB Lexar USB stick when there was a similar promo on Centrecom advertised here. I was skeptical of the Lexar because I haven’t purchased one over the last 5 years until now.
This stick is unreliable and therefore cannot be trusted with your important data. It is much slower than the advertised speed, clunky and struggles with large data files or large pol of small data files. I am guessing the new management of the company has been cutting corners in the workmanship of the product compared to 5 years ago.
Use at your own risk. Might be OK to dump some MKV files on there for TV viewing if you can wait up to 10 mins for a transfer that takes 2 mins on my other USB sticks (eg, Sandisk). There is a reason why these are so cheap they are practically giving them away.
Yeah, I bought one to create a Boot USB stick for Easy2Boot and will stick some apps and OS installers on it. Am hoping it will work as for the most part will be reading "from" it rather than write to. Time will tell.
