Same question. I am struggling to find one which plays well with the fingerprint scanner.
I have this on S21+, its really bad. You can see the circle area on all screen content, very distracting. Also it doesn't actually make the fingerprint work.
I've used these for quite a while on my galaxy S10+ (I've used 3 so far and I have a 4th ready, I broke all 3 over time from drops ECT and everytime my phone was fine afterwards) They are pretty good re fingerprint sensor (there is an adhesive circle over the sensor and around the edge)
The important part is making sure you clean the screen very well and that you get the sensor area adhered first before the edges. The newer versions give you a plastic tray to clip on the phone which assists with lining it up but the earlier ones didn't and I'm not sure which these are as I got mine through eBay. They aren't super pretty (you notice the sensor area esp when the screen is off) but tbh I hardly notice it anymore.
My advice is for the first 24h keep using a credit card to get any bubbles plus to get a good stick on the sensor area then after a couple days re-scan your thumb and set multiple of the same thumb with as many different impressions as you can and it works very well after that.
Look the UV glue ones are better but if you don't wanna pay that kinda money these are great just a few compromises.

Yes it does! You need to reset your impression though after it's applied & settled.
Tried resetting, tried different fingers, tried the YouTube methods, nothing worked on both protectors that I tried.
Ok, did you make sure you had the sensor area really well adhered before you fully stuck the edges? The first one I used had a little twist (wasn't perfectly square) and so because I hadn't fully stuck the sensor area every few days the tiny twist would lift the aggressive very slightly (enough to make the fingerprint reader a pain in butt) but after that I kinda figured it out. Look for $5 each these are pretty good they just require a little skill and patience. Definitely the best option is the UV glue ones if you can afford them but be careful of the cheap Chinese ones as they can damage the surface plus you don't wanna get the glue in the speaker grill.
