    pretty sure the two products you linked arent whats in this deal. R1700BTs, not R1700BT. R1850DB, not R1855DB.

    To answer your question, you can get away with 2.0 stereo speaker but obviously center speaker will make a big difference, especially in a not so acoustic friendly room. But then again you’re not gonna find any decent 3.0/3.1 systems at under $200 anywhere else.

  There was no deal at all. Take r1700bt as an example, the normal price is $179, lots of deals were for $159 or might be even around $130.

    this deal is for the R1700BTs, not R1700BT. its not the best deal for the R1700BTs historically, but its better than the amazon au price ($229)
