The Big Book of Belonging is for all the children who like to climb trees, run barefoot, splash in paddles, search for bugs, sing with the birds, taste snowflakes and count the stars. By placing children at the heart of the natural world, the book celebrates our connection with planet Earth and reveals the often surprising similarities between humans, animals and plants.

Illustrated in Yuval Zommer's inimitable style and packed with quirky natural history facts, readers will discover that sea otters hold hands just like humans do; hermit crabs have homes; and that butterflies also have bedtimes. They'll learn that just as humans have unique fingerprints, zebras have different stripes, cowrie shells have distinct spots and that no two snowflakes are identical.

The book's uplifting message will inspire environmentalists young and old alike - we all belong to nature, and nature belongs to us all.

The system does that automatically because why would anyone post a deal if they didn't think it was worthy.

      • +5

Lol SpainKing has never posted a deal before that's why they didn't know. Oops.

That's the most ridiculous comment I've seen on ozbargain all year, and I'd know, I write half of them.

Whoops, that's what I get for being an OzBargain rookie. I just figured out you could look at the votes today and naïvely assumed that because comments aren't automatically upvoted that deals wouldn't be either.

I also could've sworn I've seen deals with 0 votes in the positive or negative direction on some Associated deals. My comment was legitimately meant to be supportive because I saw AbsMad was still on his green P's and I was the first to vote on the deal after him.

My bad for being a dummy, hope this cleared up me looking like a dick

Love you bro. It's what makes this community so awesome - we can kick each other in the nuts and then it's all about the next deal. Have an awesome day. <3

@seamonkey: Cheers seamonkey, I was initially a bit surprised to see so many negs but when I looked at the replies people weren't being mean and I had made myself look pretty foolish so I must accept my mistakes. Have a fantastic day yourself, hope you manage to snag a good bargain 😚

Nominated for a "Made For Mums Award 2018 & 2019" lol what type of award is that? Dad's are excluded?

    Wait for $9 ?

  • We have all of the other books except Big Book of Beasts and this one. This one looks a bit wishy washy to me and maybe better for older kids. My 3 year old loves the Bugs and Blue ones.
