That's Ebay price with a 240V charger, good value in my opinion.

$827 with free delivery at ebay.
I think the ~$60 saving from COTD constitutes a bargain..
Although the 10 week wait may prove not
Depends on what price you put on your sanity…
ha ha shaw, have you ever shopped at COTD before?
$563 for the 7 piece on amazon.com
add $70 for delivery and another $50 for a decent step down transformer
$70 delivery? Link please…
International shipping AUD $139.35 for me
delivery costs have gone up …its AUD $692 delivered
true. so $692 + 50 = $742 to get the step-down, and you get the extra radio as well. but cotd offers 12 months warranty while tools from US come with no warranty. A hard decision.

when ordering from Amzon is the charger 240v?
no, you'll need a step down transformer
Check Amazon.co.uk, or .de or .fr or .it as they use 240V there. Some items work out much cheaper, as VAT cancels out shipping charges, and you don't need a transformer.
Alternately buy the charger off eBay - there's usually a few kicking around. Last time I investigated the batteries are the same.
I've seen the charger for as little as $65 on ebay .. search for DC18RA
Some pieces still left.
Worth noting if you download their app and complete the purchase with couponcode "ILOVECATCH", you'll save a further 5% and get free shipping. I just got the Makita 2 piece pack which was $426 and included;
•1 x 18V 1/2" LXT Hammer Driver-Drill (BHP454)
•1 x 18V LXT Impact Driver (BTD141)
•2 x LXT Li-Ion 3.0 Ah batteries (BL1830)
•1 x Rapid Optimum Battery Charger (DC18RA)
•1 x Tool Case (824812-5)
•12 month warrantyCan't find a comparison price online, but it looks a decent deal on paper…
Yes, that is a decent deal. I paid 2 years ago $400-$500 (can't remember) for similar kit but with drill not the hammer drill and only 1.3Ah batteries. Found them to be great pieces of gear. Maybe not "pro" but def. "prosumer".

bargain if it's not cotd.
Not bad, not going to get one myself, but just remember:
