Got a tin of this for free to try from a previous Ozbargain deal and enjoyed it. Wasn't willing to pay full price for it but at this price I'll buy it.

Indulge in the rich, robust and gold roasted aroma and bold flavour of a roast and ground style coffee. A premium blend of Moccona and best roasted coffee beans to create a rich full bodied cup of coffee.

  • Bought some Crema, thanks Op.

Coles and Woolies haven't stocked these ones, but with a much smaller version, I thought these have been discontinued?

    • They have been discontinued. These work out quite a bit cheaper than Colesworths even when on sale.

For what it’s worth, this is excellent instant coffee

      • funny how Amazon offer S&S? implying it is being produced…?

        • Probably have lots of stock as Woolies and Coles stopped ordering it. You may recall the price was around $20 for the big tin so probably put a lot of people off it. They halved the weight and halved the price and it appears to be selling well

I tried from the ae promo and was surprisingly impressed as well.

I got a tin of this from the same promo and was pleasantly surprised, for instant coffee. Still not enough to pay for it compared to beans, but a good option for my mother, the instant coffee with 5 sugars drinker.

  • Choice stores Qld have this $6 brought it last week .

    • Pretty sure that's for the 90g tin.

      brought it last week

      Where to?

  • Tried the free sample, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality for instant coffee - smooth and mellow. One jar usually last 7-10 days for me, noticeable increase in the amount needed compared with granules for similar strength, so not for the cost conscious.

I like the tin. I've been using it to store ground coffee for the past year :)

  • Can confirm this is some of the best tasting instant coffee! Thank you for the post.

4.99 at spudshed wa, for the 175g just a heads up

  • I got this from the promo too and can confirm it’s really good for instant. Normally have it black and to my tastes it’s worth making this compared to pressing coffee in my Aeropress as it saves the clean up. Half a tin has lasted me about two weeks having one coffee every weekday.

Thanks OP grabbing a couple of tins!

    • Don't know if I got a dud, but the promo freebie i got was horrible. Tastes like the nasty old International Roast to me?

For reference, my daily coffee is Aldi Brazilian single origin beans or if I have to have instant I'd go Nescafe Gold.

      • Hmm not sure. They ended up sending me a tin of the Blonde Roast instead of the Creme that was being promoted. I haven't had International Roast in a while but I do recall it tasting pretty horrible.

I wouldn't call myself a coffee snob or expert but I normally buy Aldi's Lazzio medium ground coffee and brew that in an Aeropress and have it black. For instant I'd have Blend 43 with milk and sugar (rare occasions). Recently I've discovered that coffee from Krispy Kreme in Auburn NSW is actually mindblowingly good, to the point where if I'm driving past it I have to stop by to get a latte.

  • People that are saying it's good, is it Crema, smooth or rich???
